Brand Master Academy will definitely be attending every new class. I wonder if you have any intention on doing a video about how real is the power of the new consumer. I mean, which are the most influential platforms or sources for users to blame companies for their bad practices? I guess google & trip advisor reviews will be on top of this list. Can you name some others? Thanks!!

I've been a Graphic designer specialized in logo and branding for 8 years. I Have to say it was a struggle to come this far especially when it comes to a Holistic Brand. You have clarified that so effectively, now I have a clear structure and strategy process when it comes to Branding projects for clients, and I believe part of this is because you've debunked all the myths that exist about this subject online. Thank you

@BrandMasterAcademy5 жыл бұрын
Cheers ... Well most actually small business dont bother with this... they just go an get themselves a logo and away they go... But small businesses that do go through this process will have a solid foundation to build a successful business, not to mention a distinct advantage over their small business competitors that just have a logo. If you intend to build a brand, your brand should have a strategy.

Hi Stephen, regarding the "Brand story framework", should be understood as the brand's story and not the brand History? Right?

Actually just one question if possible as well please.... The business brand is all about making powerful strong women with personal feelings of insecurity or self doubt learning to feel valued and value themselves but this means dealing with self esteem issues and the business is a bridal accessories business so not sure if bringing these feelings up fits... Something isn't connecting here for me. I think I can't be truly effective with the brand if I don't get past this point. Thankyou

@@rafosdesign9576 thank you for taking the time to ask... I can see now that my question is lost in my explanation. "This is where strategy comes in... A brand might choose to speak to a higher purpose such as self-esteem... or they might choose to speak to the emotions or the dream Not every brand needs to or should be speaking to scoial or socital issues... It has backfired on many brands before Think about the problem being solved, the want or the need, the challenges, fears and desires... within these you'll find the right strategy to connect"

Im not sure if i should agree with the definition of brand story, or if there is only one definition/usage for such a thing. Im fairly new to branding, but so far i experienced how useful a brand story is that encapsulates pretty much everything in one story. where the brand comes from, what it does, for whom, with what vision, what it promises, written in a way that represents values and the tone/voice. I found that such a story is a good tool to get a big picture of the brand at a glance, and to guide creative direction. I mean, the value of such a story feels so valuable, that i dont see why there shouldnt be such a thing as a brand story which is focusing on the brand. For sure, storytelling in my eyes is ofcourse a huge win when it comes to anything communicational with the audience, but shouldnt be a brand story be about the brand? An story that not necessarily is communicated as it is to the audience (website or smth.), instead to be used as a tool in the branding process?
@BrandMasterAcademy Жыл бұрын
your perspective is solid. I’m short, yes, there are many different ways to tell a story and from many perspectives. There are also so many great examples of storytelling about the brand itself, including the founder, the heritage and the brand journey. These are all viable ways to tell a story and resonate. I have simply found that so many brand leaders overlook the tool that is storytelling and forget about the customer These stories for me are the most potent and the most likely to achieve the desired response

I have a question about, let's say point 1.3: the values. What values are personal enough to guide a brand? If honesty, respect and integrity are not, I can't think of values that are. Those 3 values don't go with every brand out there.
@BrandMasterAcademy6 ай бұрын
For me, these are assumed for every business. Everyone should act with these 3, as should every business. This is why I think other values act as better drivers because theyre more specific. Zappos for example… give their employees something tangible they can use as a more direct guide • Deliver WOW through service. • Embrace and drive change. • Create fun and a little weirdness. • Be adventurous, creative, and open-minded. • Pursue growth and learning. • Build open and honest relationships with communication. • Build a positive team and family spirit. • Do more with less.
