Similar in Swedish, we tend to start to talk about our problems in life if someone says "How's it going?" or "What's up?", funny though that we have a similar phrase "Hur är läget?" or just "Läget?" that works pretty much the same, it's just a greeting. "Have a good day" or similar insinuates to us that we're having a tough day, like "Oh dear, take care of yourself". The weird thing about VAT/Sales tax in USA (and I think Canada) is that it's added onto the bill. In most countries it's included, so the price on the price tag is what you pay.

@@matshjalmarsson3008 the funny thing was, I overshared when the first time they asked me “how are you”… I kept telling how exhausting my flight was, the struggle bringing all my suitcases, I can’t find my apartment, idk how to use Uber because I don’t have a Credit Card yet, I live far from work, idk how to use the bus, etc.. If only I knew that they really don’t care HAHAHHAHAHAHHA
