Very interesting and although you came here years ago you are talking about things others would experience today. We British born here do appreciate all the things you speak about ,sometimes we are looked on as not modern enough ,but we are a crowded island and if it is to be comfortable for all there must still be some restrictions.

I remember having a conversation with a woman, who originally came from Afghanistan as a child refugee with her family. She said she couldn’t believe, seeing girls playing football, driving cars, going shopping, playing in the park, being politicians etc, doing normal things etc, running businesses etc, attending university, doing every day jobs teachers, etc etc. She couldn’t believe it. I was really astonished. Long story short, she said she trained as a HGV driver and worked for the post office. Her life is good and she thanked the British people for giving her and her family a good life. It just goes to show, all people (human beings) are basically the same. It doesn’t matter who you are.

When I went to work in Nigeria, I stepped off the plane in Kano at 7pm and thought the thick heat must be from the engines, but of course it wasn't. Had to rest 3 days before starting work just to get used to the climate.

I think a fair assessment of UK weather is that if you come in summer expecting pure heat.. you'll be mostly disappointed. If you come in winter expecting nothing but unbearable cold.. you'll be pleasantly surprised. Book an outdoor wedding in July? It could be EXCEPTIONALLY hot, but it could piss down too. Outdoor Christmas event in December? It could be completely freezing, but it could also be surprisingly mild.

Great video. I’m shocked you’ve been here 12 years though…. I assumed it was more like 4 or 5 for some reason. I have a question for you though. If Britain went to war next month, would you rather enlist and fight for Britain or return to Nigeria? (It’s not an ambush question… just genuinely interested).

I really laughed when you spoke about the shock of the cold from the plane to the airport when you arrived. I moved to Saudi for a while when I was a kid. When I got off the plane I was shocked by the heat...also September...and thought the engines from the plane were what was making it so hot, then as we kept walking towards the terminal, it did not get better, and it struck me....this is how hot my life was going to be!!!!

We have the best of all weather to grow crops etc we also are fed up with being called racist when we have more foreigners than British people and that's what we get accused of most people here can't speak our languages we get disrespected so much and truthfully what have we done wrong . We have silent letters in our word . Most people that do these videos go from London accent and judge Britain on London please don't do that . And the houses are not the same all over the UK . We don't have blackouts and UK water is drinkable so don't get where this is coming from . We are not allowed to honk unless it's a emergency cos it can distract drivers and cyclist need to have a safe lane to ride their bikes as they have no respect for people on pavement. Expressing love is ok but it's not really something you just see out in the open where kissing which whatever no big deal but anything more than that is ment for behind doors . Only in last few yrs has people of same sex been all over each other which still keep in behind closed doors like married couples should. Most English live coffee more than tea . A smoking break is just a break . You might not love fish and chips not all British do but that's preference same as the breakfast. British food not plain don't know where you have been but London ain't the place . I like you man but as I was born and breed in UK I suggest you travel out of London and experience the UK ❤

Shae...if you haven't had a proper Sunday roast, I would recommend it, however, beware really cheap pub roasts as they can never, ever produce a decent roast spud or rich enough proper gravy, and rarely do you get a decent Yorkshire pud! Plus...fish and chips, try with tartare sauce if you like to lift your food with condiments. Traditional British cuisine tends to rely on quality ingredients, and our palate is developed to pick up the subtleties of individual flavours. We tend to use herbs more than spices. Other cuisines are developed on using blends of herbs and spices to create different flavours that quite strongly overlay the flavour of the base ingredients. All styles of cuisine have their different merits. 😂

I love hearing visitors trying to pronounce British town names. it's hilarious. I moved from Lancashire down to West sussex and can't understand people down here having to wear jackets and coats when it's positively balmy outside. I'm glad you love it here. Like you said, we are a proper melting pot of all races, ethnicities, and cultures, and it's made us richer for it.
