:- 10 day rule was established by the internatio-
nal commission on radiological protection
( ICRP ) to minimize the potential for per-
forming x-ray exams on women.
:- The guiding principle is the10 day rule stating
that the abdominal area ( lumber spine, pelvis,
coccyx and hips ) should not be irradiated
after the 1st 10 days of one's menstrual cycle.
:- The Non urgent x-ray examinations that
involve pelvic irradiation should be restricted
to the first 10 days of the menstrual cycle.

Sir, mera wife 6 weeks ka pragnent hai.....unko chest ka x-ray karwana pada breathing problem ke karan....x-ray karwane se pehle apron ka shield laga diya tha pet me.....Sir mujhe dar lag raha hai kahi radiation pass tu hua nahi......Please reply me Sir 🙏🙏
