Tom ford is a cheat code on this list! Lmao. The quality is better than most niche across the board. I think private blends should just be considered niche. And it's hard to argue against that.

Actually we should settle this matter for good and really do so. Private blends are usually less mass appealing, they are as expensive if not even more expensive than niche houses and they mostly are even less available than normal niche brands. Like dior, chanel, lv, armani, hermes, all those private blends are virtually unavailable at discounts, aside from second hand private transactions.

I grabbed Robert Graham Valour for $29.99 at TJ Maxx. It's great stuff that many don't own. I missed Noire Ambre when it was in the racks for $50. The price shot up to over $100 plus for a long time. I recently picked it up new for $70 from LaBelle. Great stuff!! Pure Malt is another banger that I found at the racks for $40.

Niche are often worst than some specific so-called designers. Who do you think has access to resources and skills in the luxury world? Niche is not equal to haute parfumerie. Designer is not an appropriate category because you bundle together the low, the average and the good together the the absolute best such as exclusive collections (read luxury houses). Niche is also often for the snobs and nouveaux riches, luxury hiuses clientèle often find then vulgar and repulsive.
