Fun Fact: Cereals we consider "adult" cereal can actually be bad for kids. The doses of vitamins are way above the recommended dose for kids. I am in no way saying the sugary stuff marketed for kids is good for them either. Oats, the plain and boring oats, are great for most kids. And with oats you can add anything to make it tastier. Fruit, yogurt, a bit of brown sugar, you get the idea.

I used to get Kudos bars during field day in elementary school. Sunbelt Bakery (Mckee Foods) makes some great chocolate covered granola bars. Sunbelt even makes a banana nut granola bar with pieces of real banana chips inside, but this one contains no chocolate.
