Soda is partially untrue, Dollar Tree sells " Stars and Stripe Brand" Soda at $1.25 for a 3Lt bottle. Stars and Stripe is actually Cott brand Soda's Which was very Popular in NY along with Hoffman Beverages in the 40's and 50's. They Bottle under many names these days. so at $1.25 for 3Lt is a great but at just .41 cents a liter with the same quality as RC Cola

And that's why when I go to Dollar Tree and I'm going to get a soda I make sure I get the 20 oz sodas because they do have them there and a lot of them are 16 oz bottles I've ended up buying a 20 oz soda there for a dollar the one and a half liter so there's like Pepsi and Mountain Dew are always a plus it's not really ripping you off when you can go to the other stores and they're trying to Hell a lot more for one of those now then they were before Walmart price increase on their one and a half liters Pepsi and Dr Pepper and Mountain Dew.

Sorry with inflation the dollar store has the best deal on sodas... $1.18 for a 2 liter at walmart, $1.25 for 2.75 liters at the dollar store, cereal.. wrong again babbletop, from time to time the dollar tree gets buyout cereal for cheap like full boxes.. I've found 18oz boxes of generic cereals, Dunkaroo cereal, and frosting filled cinnamon bun cereal.

Bout the only thing I get from the dollar store are greeting cards. 50 cents a card beats paying 4 or 5 bucks for a Hallmark greeting card. an sometimes their one liter soda of Mountain Dew if all Walmart has is sugar free on their shelves. Walmart is terrible about keeping their damn shelves stocked.

If you're buying the MSG brand Accent at a grocery store, you're doing it wrong. Find an Asian market (or shop online) and get some Aji-no-moto (the original!) or other MSG in bulk. I've gotten a pound bag of Aji-no-moto for under $4 at a local Asian shop -- about what a 4.5 oz container of Accent will cost off the shelf at Kroger or whatever.
