As someone who already uses premiere every day I highly recommend this video to new comers (and actually everyday users). This guy doesn't just show you good tips and tricks but has really good editing psychology and is really creative. Like for instance look at 1:30 - it's so simple but he goes from a standard presenting kind of shot to the same shot but showing how the lumetri panel works without it being distracting buts it's just super effective. In my experience it's the little things you don't notice that yield the best results. This guy is a G. Anyways, if you read this have a great day and I hope you make an awesome vid today, much love

This might sound weird but I had a moment as I was listening to you talk into your mic, and thinking about how you are hanging out with your friends at the park, having fun making videos to help others and I had a weird moment of appreciation for you as a human in just looking into a glimpse of your life in an empathetic way and perceiving how sweet and cute it is that you are at the park having fun making a video with people you love in the back lmao. Ik this sounds weird but when I think about people that enjoy something (like video games, music) whatever it may be and I feel them as a human, they eat, they have things they love and hate, they feel fear like I do and feel love like I do, I just have these ultimate moments of appreciation and love in seeing this delicate life just doing it’s thing and enjoying itself

In my experience, don't use chroma key. It's a very hit-or-miss effect and relies way more on you having a perfect lighting setup. Use Ultra key instead. My ultimate takeaway is the warp-stabilizer trick, very useful info thank you.

A little known trick I use with Ultra Key is to check the key by switching the composite view to alpha view, this way you can adjust your key in real time by using the shadows, or pedestal control. Make sure to switch back to composite view or you will actually render out your key instead. A second little tip is with uneven keys is that you can apply a second ultra key effect and take out the rest of the green that is still there. Other than that you can also use Ultra Key with the built in mask tool. Great tutorial BTW!! much love to you for doing this.

The speed at which the footage stabilized with warp stabilizer, was that an editing trick or is it really that instant? I ask because when I play with the stabilizer on my pc it can take quite a bit of time to have the feature do its thing, even for really short clips - and I have an RTX card. I'm curious if there is something wrong on my end or if that's normal.
