I haven't tried the Becca lip product but your description likening it to a childhood scent has me whipping out my debit card. With so many companies leveraging nostalgia to sell product, I think the scent component is oft overlooked and highly underutilized. We know how powerful scent is a connection to memory and enjoyment of a product. Since fragrance has become a taboo in so much skin care, there really is opportunity for the face products like lipbalms, body oils and other occlusives that don't penetrate the skin to grab a market by the nostrils with familiarity and keep them married to it. It's a harder initial sell but if that heinously faux buttered bum bum cream can build an entire brand on it....

I really enjoy the L’Oréal ColourRiche shine glosses. I use them as a topper on my lips and love how it feels. I don’t find it stays on terrific but the formula is great. I have three shades, GlossyFawn, Varnished Rosewood and Sparkling Rose. Definitely a great drugstore hit

If you like the shade Demolition try UD Crave if you can find it as it's a bit difficult to come by. It comes in/out of rotation/releases. I currently have it on a dual ended pencil w/ Venus (a very brightening waterline shade w/ a shimmer that reflects the light on the waterline beautifully but doesn't look garish AT ALL like you might imagine a shimmer to...it's a daily go to). The Crave end is my #1 for tightening/upper waterline and soft winged liner. It's even darker and cooler than Demolition but bc it's not quite black it just comes off more flattering and soft. On myself I dislike black on either top/bottom waterline despite loving it on others, yet with Crave I can get away w/ the look as it's less stark than black.

I don’t like the Mac paint pots either. I found them to be drying and every time I used them my shadows creased so bad. I’m excited to try the Maybelline foundation. I’ve been interested in the Dior but I’ve just never bought it so I’ll get the Maybelline and save some money 😊. Idk if I’ll like anything as much as the UD liners, they’re my holy grail liners. if you have any cream product which is looking/feeling a bit dry, use Duraline- 2-3 drops and shake it a bit. let it sit and you should have a fresh creamy product again.

I have a GREAT dupe for you for your next dupe video . I love the Armani cold copper liquid shadow as much as you do .... so please try out the Revlon photo ready eye art in Topaz Twinkle ! It has a liquid shadow side and a glitter side but the shadow side is SO SIMILAR to cold copper . I swatched them side by side today and was shocked 😮

Please be safe ! And I love the L’Oréal lipstick/gloss hybrid! I have every color- there are two formulas one with the “lip plumping” and one without. I enjoy both. Also, I’m a huge fan of the urban decay eyeliners, specifically the color Vice it’s purple - it looks bold and bright when you switch it- but on the eyes it’s beautiful- ! I have greenish hazel brown eyes ( they change color a lot) but it’s so pretty and I find it looks pretty with many different colors. Thanks for the dupe video and please stay safe ! 💄💋💄💋

Hi Stephanie! Hey, the teenyboppers have their Ulta 21 Days of Beauty videos up, but I need yours! I just received my Elf order with the foundation mixers. I got both the lightener and darkener. I actually got a tan this summer and needed a darker foundation, so I tried the Face Tape and I want to lighten it as my tan fades. Face Tape seems very similar to my CT Airbush Flawless Filter foundation, which is currently too light.

I'm wondering if the N⁰ 7 drops could be a dupe for the drunk elephant D-Bronzi. I feel like the N⁰ 7 is a lot more pigmented so you'd need less to get the effect plus there's an okay shade range so you could choose which bronzy shade you wanna use. I use my N⁰ 7 drops exactly how you showed using the D-Bronzi/elf dupe.

I really love dupe videos. I am on a fixed income so it's nice to find lower cost make up that does basically the samething. I use MAC paint pots I add a thin layer of lotion style primer and I find that that stops it from making my eyes look old. Glad to know to about the Colourpop. I only buy high end on sale. I do miss the OG paint pots that used to come in a range of colors but the Tattoo pots filled that niche. I know someone mentioned duraline to bring cream products back to life which works great. A dupe for that is saline solution which I have used many times. It is eye safe and works though you have to use a little more than the duraline.

The L’Oréal lipsticks are so beautiful, especially Glossy Fawn, but I swear I have some sort of sensitivity to them. My lips get super sore and cracked, and peel for days every time I wear them. Really bummed because that was my perfect nude lip color. Back to the drawing board!

I have what may be a color and function dupe for the UD and Kaja under eye correctors: Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind concealer in the color "Brightener". It's a pinky-peach color that does brighten as well as color-correct. It is a different texture, and it has a different applicator than the other correctiors, but it does the same thing as what you showed in your video. I usually don't have to put regular concealer on top of this corrector unless I want my undereye area to be especially light, but this may be due to my skin tone (fair neutral). ~ Anastacia in Cleveland

Nice to see you uploading content, I was just wondering how you were doing with the storm situation in your area. I hope all is well with everyone at home. The Mac Paint Pots were such a fail for me as eye primer. Painterly gave me milia on my eyelids & was super dry looking/accentuated texture. On top of that, it didn't add any staying power to my eyeshadow. Finding a good eye primer has been my quest for the HG. I keep trying new things & haven't found The One yet. Great dupe ideas, especially the liquid metallic eyeshadows which are so pricey for what is basically a novelty makeup item. They tend to dry out or expire before you ever use them up. Loreal had some amazing liquid shadows in double ended applicators called Loreal Paints. once they dried down, they did not crease or smudge. Of course they were discontinued just like my HG Loreal cushion foundation. Grrrr. I will have to check out Elf's website, sounds like they have a lot of new products worth trying that aren't sold at Ulta.

In addition, I show many drugstore products in skincare videos, monthly favorites, GRWM videos, etc. I love high end but use drugstore as well. I don't wear makeup everyday. If you don't cleanse your face well or wear products that aggravate your skin, it will affect your skin. If you cleanse well, have a good skincare routine, and use products that work well for you, you'll be fine. :)
