Kabuki is a freakin' legend! When Keiji Muto debuted his Great Muta character, he was said to be Kabuki's son. The work he did in World Class, UWF, and other territories is amazing!

Thank you so much for mentioning Battle Kat. For years, I asked so many of my fellow wrestling fans who grew up in the 90`s if they remembered him and not one of them knew what the hell I was even talking about! I even started to believe he never exsisted at all and I just dreamt him up

CrualBirab I don’t mean to be ‘that guy’, but he did actually say that it “sounds like” something from Thundercats and even as a He Man fan myself, I would agree and say that it does sound like a Thundercats character. He also wrestled in a few other federations before he retired and started a Security Company(and I think Bill Eady-Masked Superstar/Ax from Demolition was involved in that business with Nick Busick at one point) You can find him on FACEBOOK===Mitch.

Damien Demento was in the main event on the very first ever Monday Night RAW, against the Undertaker. It's obvious that the only people who don't remember at least nearly all of these guys were born after their time in WWF. The Berzerker was a variation on John Nord's Nord the Barbarian character from AWA, and Paul Diamond, as many have mentioned here, was in the team Badd Company with Pat Tanaka in AWA, and also for a bit in ECW during that company's time as Eastern Championship Wrestling.

Poorly researched video... Damien Demento's character wasn't a WWE idea. Theis wrestled in other promotions as Mondo Kleen, with the same looks, before joining WWF. Also, as "culturally insensitive" as Saba Simba may look (especially to our PC-obsessed society), Tony Atlas himself claimed that gig saved his life, as he was having a very tough time in the late 80s. Vince gave him a job for old times' sake and that helped Atlas to get back on his feet. John Nord had the same Viking gimmick elsewhere as well. Maybe not as irrelevant, but in its silliness, it kinda worked for what it was... The Japanese guys were part of promotional deals with Japanese promotions, and they weren't really expected or supposed to be much more than one-off characters.

Nick Busick was a power lifter and a cop, that dude was a legitimate badass, and actually started with the wwf in the early 80s. He actually got a pretty legit push at his beginning, they built him up to be a monster. Then jobbed him out to... Wait google. THE BROOKLYN FREAKING BRAWLER OF ALL PEOPLE. I remember most of this first hand, I loved him when he first showed up. He was an old timey strong man, that worked damn well in NXT with the vaudvillains. He'd probably... Actually still be enhancement talent now. But scary enhancement talent!
