I cooked for Mike Reid when I was in Spain. Stocky and tall guy. We spoke a few time, he use to come in my restaurant called Place On The Corner for roast dinner every Sunday. He told me he was going back to the UK for a while and a week later he died. RIP Mike

I'd forgotten all about Ross Davidson!wasn't he the Scottish guy who went out with that beautiful blonde woman?(Debbie?)I vaguely remember the storyline about him,going jogging and another woman involved.he wore a male nurse or physio uniform 1985-6 episodes or so.he was so young.(brain tumour?)that is yet another dreadful awful tragedy for loved ones to endure!sue Osman!(sandy ratcliffe!)Ali's wife?all those fantastic characters.we all used to watch it in 1985 and 6!dirty den as well!it's so strange.for the first year of filming,in 1985,EastEnders was filmed in abstract and Avant garde mode..it's dramatic layout and filming sequence was absolutely bizarre!just like that bizarre 1933 film with Ivor Novello,where he starred as a russian prince,or the film "Hudson hawk"!it was just absolutely bizarre construction!
