The most insane easter egg ever, if you can really classify it as such, is the entirety of Inscryption's story. Daniel Mullins put clues in all of his old games, even old demos of unreleased games, and even hid stuff in the real world that was required to fully unlock and understand Inscryption. to be precise, dying light 2's hoverboard WAS obtainable in some earlier versions of the game if u just moved out of the given path and reach an specific safehouse before the timer runs out, u could simply put the hoverboard inside ur safehouse stash and exit the game, after returning u could see the hvoerboard simply lying there in ur stash ready to use freely, u could use the same method for some other easter egg limited stuff including harry potters broom or the doom guy shotgun, sadly it got patched in the later releases but if u managed to get ur hands on them, they never actually removed it from the players inventories.
