I can never keep my aloes happy; they're super light green, skinny and floppy, and don't really grow much. I think i might be over-watering them from what you're saying.

Hi! If they are super light and lanky, You might have them and not enough light. Try putting them in the most light you have in your house. So if you’re in the northern hemisphere, put it in a south facing window or east facing window. And yes, Aloes don’t need a lot of water. I have a big pot with about five aloes in it and I water it maybe three or four times in the winter… Which here in Winnipeg is about six months of the year lol If the leaves are mushy, then yes you are overwatering it. If you have overwatered it and the leaves are mushy, I would take it out of the pot and inspect the roots for root rot. If the roots are mushy and rotten, Try to cut as much of the root off as you can without killing the plant and then re-pot into fresh dry soil. But if they are just lanky from not enough light then just give them more light and they should perk back up.

Great list! There are so many plants we can purchase that are easy growers and for the most part, drama free. There are so many varieties of Pothos that you never get bored. Some Aloe seem more resilient than others. Totally agreed with your list. What a fun video! Many thanks! 👌🥰🪴
