You can buy velvet headbands that are designed to help keep them from slipping, you can wear an under cap designed to help prevent slipping or just use clips or Bobby pins or a combination of both.

haha yes same. The unfortunate truth is they slip off eventually, but its super easy to readjust. Try tying it tighter to avoid too much slipping!

Covid's up again where my mom lives, so she gave herself a haircut that went oh so wrong. So she send me a picture of a headscarf on her head, and it looked much, much worse than the haircut, because she doesn't know how to wear a headscarf. Think I heard somewhere that hairspray on bare skin (like for someone undergoing chemo who has lost their hair) creates enough grip to hold fabric in place. Otherwise, have you thought about bobbypins?
