A spray bottle is great for saving on rinse water for dishes. Takes a bit of getting used to, but soooo good for cutting down on water waste.

Do an experiment: Open up all the containers and stack them together. You will see that they take the same amount of space if you stack them or if you push them down and then stack them. So they are not really space savers if you just stack them one inside the other. My friend had some of those and she discovered that you could just stack them together without breaking them down and they took up the same amount of space as regular plastic containers that fit inside each other.

Hey, i know i am late to the conversation but i still want to share my take. What i like about the collapsable containers is that once you store food inside them and the food does not take up the whole space you can collaps them to be smaller. Which then takes up less space in the fridge. So for wide and shallow food like cheese and tofu you can use the big one and keep it completely collapsed or for stuff like avocado you use the width that fits and then adjust the hight of the container. So yes it does not safe cupboard space but it saves fridge space

I love most of your hacks, and will click on your links! but I want to offer the opinion that silicone coffee cups are potentially unsafe. Why not just get some good stainless steel thermal mugs which are unbreakable? @@vanlifesagas It must be tricky to avoid Amazon especially when standing in remote locations indeed :/ ... About collapsable boxes I can'y tell if there's much alternative solutions beside replacing by glass pots you can find anywhere locally but they will take a lot of space. ABOUT NUTELLA, you should try to make your own chocolate-hazelnut spread it's a killer - even do a video about it ? Would save a lot of Orang-Outans ;) ! Here's a receipe : crush 100gr of hazelnuts + 100gr of almonds, add 60gr of agave syrup. Then melt 150gr of milk chocolate at low heat. Take it of the fire then add 5cl of milk with 2 spoons of hazelnut oil. Finally, mix it all together and let it cool of and enjoy that bad boy ;)

Sink is a 15x15 from Odysee. We got it online, at Rona.

New subscriber here. You got me, sold! Wow, I’ve seen a lot of these videos but this was by far and away the best. I will be ordering many of them tonight. I especially loved the toaster. The old fashion one I have keeps falling apart and takes forever to toast, wasting propane. Also, the lights, right now I have fairy lights but they run off batteries and are short. I have been looking all over for lights to use outside so critters don’t eat the Wires under the hood. A new suggestion for you.

Buy yourself a few air horns for security. GOD forbid if someone is trying to break into your van while you sleep, blast the air horn through a window or vent, very loud. Also great when hiking with bear spray and air horn. The bear will shit himself when he hears the air horn. Sound the air horn first, if the bear still comes forward then bear spray. Found at most marina suppliers.

C'est bien sharp that little toaster! I have a fifth wheel and space/storage is not an issue. However, making toast in the big toaster-oven is a nuisance and a toaster, as a single-use appliance, is not worth pulling out and putting away for the odd time I feel like having toast. I am enjoying your videos very much, not only for content but your graphics and style... very, very well done!!
