So, whenever several influencers recommend a fragrance, I buy a sample and test it out on co-workers. Very rarely do they compliment the scent and these people have known me for 5+ years. It's not until I ask for their opinion do they say something. People, don't buy scents looking for compliments. Never expect any but be happy if it happens. 👌

The best everyday fragrance for compliments in my 100+ collection is Mont Blanc Explorer. I’m not really sure what it is about this scent, but women always compliment the smell and seem more attracted to me when I wear it. For evenings/dates I always go with La Nuit D’Lhomme for compliments. Sauvage and Dylan Blue get compliments too, but aren’t as unique or romantic, so I use those for more casual nights out.

In the US it depends on what part of the country you are in. Areas like the Northeast it is very uncommon in my experience. But in the South and Midwest I've been complimented fairly often. Flights are where i have received the most complements. I feel like the flight attendants are so used to interacting with people they are not afraid to complement someone.

Monika, you're right about Granado. It's a brand wich deserves more reconizing. There's another brazilian brand, called Phebo, wich is actually a "sister brand" of Granado, that also has a lot of very good quality fragrances. They're known by their extremely natural ingredients and quality of the scents. Please, do yourself a favor and try other fragrances from these two brazilian brands and thank me later 😁. Ps.: Another brazilian brand wich deserves some atention is "Amyi". But they still don't have the international distribuition that Granado/Phebo do.

I had (had) an old bottle of Hawas that never failed to get me unsolicited compliments in public. My brother had been wanting to try Hawas but I'd heard newer bottles don't have the same oomph so I let him have the rest of my bottle. He just texted me as I was watching this video and said a husband/wife ran him down in a sporting goods store saying they'd smelled him as they moved about the store and they just had to know what he's wearing. Yeah, the old Hawas never fails.

I really liked this video! Creators usually do a lot of the same stuff. It’s cool that these are fragrances I haven’t really heard about before! (I like that!). I mean, I like the videos about the trendy ones too, 🤷🏻‍♂️ they’re trendy for a reason! They smell Ammmaaazzing anymore! Beautiful. “Way Back When” the choices were nowhere near as plentiful or fantastic! Imho…different take on a top 10 (of any kind) is a welcome change for the sake of variety alone. I have to disagree a little bit with the OP on Oud fragrances, I think that’s more of an eastern Oud that is appreciated by people from Middle Eastern or European countries not so much in the western hemisphere like in the United States…. I’ve tried great Oud products from Tom Ford, and even Oud for greatness, which has been hyped to be one of the best Oud fragrances out there, and I never get a single compliment when I wear them… so maybe American women don’t have a nose for Oud fragrances overall… or at least I haven’t found many that do

Yes! Asad by Lattafa is such a great Scent, much better than Sauvage Elixir. Sauvage is just too Strong and can Choke you out after a while, Asad is much sweeter and lighter, definitely done right I must say :)

I am from the United States, Texas . And i can't help noticing that most of the stuf you show is like 150 plus a bottle. I am just a blue collar kind od guy. Nice jeans, no tuck nice shirt with nice shoes. Comfy kind of dresser, if cold I'll wear my old leather bomber jack. So is there any way you could please do a video that focuses on guy's that aren't billionaires? I would be most grateful. I really love your videos . I would recommend going into department stores and asking for samples. Smell everything first, move slowly. For me it’s 3 parts, I have to 1) like the smell of it on strip, 2) like the smell of it on skin (get samples), then 3) finally purchase a bottle, maybe a small bottle. Macy’s carry designer. Nordstrom carries the “other” designer brands as well as niche (if you want that sort of thing). My personal recommendation, based on your description…stick to designer first. Get a “blue” fragrances for your daily wear, and maybe something for fancier/colder occasions. That’s all you need for starters. And never buy retail, shop on online discounters. Hope that helps. my most complemented fragrance is a cheapie Azzaro chrome extreme i’ve also gotten a fair number of compliments when I wear JPG’s, here in the US compliments, can be common depending on the location and atmosphere lately there’s a bit of a woke culture and snobs.
