The only problem is the that historians are 100% sure that Robin Hood, the person, is real. They just don't know which of the many people it is, or if it is someone they haven't identified yet. Robin Hood the legend is a combination of the original person, a few of the other identified people, embellishments, mistellings and other features added by people along the way. There may be some slivers of truth left in the stories that are told about Robin Hood these days, but due to inclusion of other people's stories and the many changes, the stories are probably mostly fiction now. Some historians say the he isn't real because the stories aren't really real anymore. I would argue that just like the mostly fictional Braveheart doesn't make William Wallace any less real, the mostly fictional stories of Robin Hood don't make the real Robin Hood any less real.
