Excellent list. Long-time Clicker here but I still learnt a couple of things. Keep doing what you're doing. It's a shame you're not bigger as your videos are really bloody useful.

Agreed. Been doing this since I was a kid but I still learned things from these videos. Even if I knew how to do something, this guy usually has a more efficient way of doing it.

Pro tip. Having strange runtime hiccups and frame drops? Copy all your objects and code to a new frame. Yes, it works. I suspect it’s because the garbage from old modified and deleted events hangs around behind the scenes and gums up the works. Copying the objects and events separately seems to clear this crap out.

Hello sir i'm one of your "undirect" students :D sir im developing a fanmade pokemon game right now, i've already made the map, the RPG things and i think it's 70% done, but i got very big serious problem, it's about the battle scene :D so with all respect would you like to make a video tutorial about pokemon battle? i didn't mean to ask you too much or maybe you could make another game but the mechanism still like pokemon, thank you, and by the way sorry for my english, it's not my primary :)) thank you so much, your videos are GREATTT!!

I've just started out with Clickteam Fusion 2.5 (free fersion) but I am only limited to 3 frames. Is there any way that I can put more than 1 level per frame. Thanks if you could make a video on this or if anyone reply. Thanks

You could set all the objects from a stage with a qualifier and them make them all disappea (either change their position or destroy them) in the end of the stage, then position/create the objects with the second level's qualifier. I made this for an intro screen that goes straight into the menu screen, but if you do this you won't be able to go straight to the following level without some headache. Also having this many objects in the same frame could be limited by the free version as well (I'm not sure how many objects are allowed per frame, but I believe there's also a limit in the free version). Or you can wait until clickteam has a promotion on either their website or on Steam and get the full version, doesn't quite need to be the developer.

so hello, I like your videos but can i have a question? I have a character selection menu. When I choose lets say the green character the alterable value becomes 5. Then I Have It set up so When you Start Level 1 It checks if selected is 5 and if its 5 then load up the fifth (the green) frame of my Character. This Works fine but if i jump from the character selection screen to the menu and then to level 1 it forgets the alterable value. I have made every object associated with the character changing global. but if I jump From The character section Straight to level 1 it remembers the alterable value? What Causes This? EDIT: Fixed It. I accidently set selected to 1 when the start button is pressed.

Please make those tutorials, will be useful to me: (in 1 video) 1) How do I set the RGB in Event Editor? 2) I put the Pallete Map Effect on the active, and I did in the Event Editor a script that changes the palletes for images, but when I go to Build the game and I execute it, it does not work. How do I fix this? 3) How do I play videos in Build using Active Direct Show object?

Does anyone know if it's possible to create a "heat distortion" or "vapor"-like effect using Fusion 2.5? And if so, is there an example/tutorial for this? I think I recall someone saying to use a shader pack but I downloaded that and I'm clueless as to what to do. Thanks in advance : )

What's the difference between the options in global objects? I was using the "Same name..." option for the player, to have his lifes and etcetera carried throughout the frames, but should I change it to identical then?
@MimoAnimations
@MimoAnimations 7 жыл бұрын
"Same name and type" Will only make the object share it's name and type, so if you rename it, it will change name in the other frame. But if you want to have his lifes and etcetera to be shared, you need to use "Identical Objects"

Hey, been watching your videos again, I find them quite helpful when working on projects and stuff! I have a light request for a tutorial, for a sort of parallax line scrolling effect, as seen in games like Sonic the Hedgehog for the water in the first zone. I've been trying that for a while now and I've been unable to do anything with it. And I can't find help anywhere else.

Hey any news on the paid upgrade called (Clickteam Fusion 2.5+) please? Oh also please remove the brackets before reading it and yeah so apparently it’s what is coming before Clickteam Fusion 3 comes out, when it comes out though nobody really knows when either are coming out but they said they’re doing the best they can to get it to come soon.

My knowledge: 10: Knew it, except for the paint option! I’ve been doing the grid stuff so much slower! That’s gonna help a lot. 9: Knew it, but super useful, even snaps objects to the nearest grid too. 8: I did know about this. The folders are quite useful, but it should be more visible to find. Perhaps in Fusion 3 they will make it more noticeable. 7: Didn’t know about that at all. More customizability and quality of life! 6: I already look to this a lot, but sometimes something isn’t defined well enough even there, so I look to the internet too much than I should, lol. 5: I actually learned about this because I accidentally locked the object and didn’t know how to unlock it, lol. My personal preference is to just lock layers, but a good option if I just want to lock/unlock one thing. 4: Global objects are my life. Occasionally the animations get screwy across frames, but it is absolutely essential if you have multiple frames of the same gameplay. 3: Global events/values are super important for me too, I have too many groups of events to count within the global editor. Sure, the qualifiers are not possible, but that is when I just edit within the specific frame at that point and have values set to communicate with the global events. I cant wait for them to get more streamlined in Fusion 3! I personally avoid the event list editor because I get so overwhelmed by the clutter, but good for new-coming programmers. Behaviours are the solution to all of my repetitive tasks, so satisfying to use. Groups of events are my life. Period. I have too much to keep track of, and it helps so much. I indeed activate and deactivate groups within global events so that I can set global events within specific frames too! 2: I only figured this out recently (including the action point), and it helps a ton! Unless the resolutions of the animation frames are different, that’s another story. 1: Only recently figured this out, this is super useful because it changes the sound actions within all the events! Really nice. I really enjoyed watching this video compared to others! The other video I benefitted a ton was the smooth camera, really helped me a lot. :> Perhaps I could showcase my game on your channel?
