100% Agreed. Happened with me once in 2008 during light sparring while practicing the guillotine submission (he was being taught by me, I was the temporary/stand-in instructor for him for that event). The guy got me in a standing guillotine, and though it wasn’t tight on me, I decided to tap with an intention of giving him some instructions (then the plan was to go right back in that position). He didn’t leave the hold despite me tapping for 30+ seconds (he was infamous for doing this on a lot of people & even seriously injuring a few!), plus he threw some racist comments on me (I’m from India, and was doing my masters in the UK at the time). I squeezed his balls, lifted him up and slammed him down then and elbowed his jaw while falling on him (downward momentum). He was in the ICU for 6-days, then quit MMA after that. I felt good at the time, and I still do.

You missed Renato "Babalu" Sobral and his UFC 74 fight with David Heath. He held onto a choke for way too long and the ref had to spend several seconds pulling him off. The crowd went from cheering him during the fight to booing him afterward. In the post-fight interview, he even admitted to holding onto the choke because David Heath had called him a "mother fucker". He was immediately cut and never returned. Good riddance.

I'm pretty sure what War Machine did to Chrissy Mack was the tip of the iceberg regarding Dana's decision to ban him. Anyone whoever dealt with him described him as having the emotional maturity of a toddler, even *before* he got into MMA. For example, the video of him ranting and raving about not being able to get a Slurpee At the trial, War Machine claimed that he just came over "to talk" and denied the attempted SA (fortunately, he couldn't get it up) but couldn't explain how Chrissy got all those injuries. He also tried to off himself in prison, but once again, failed and got into a great deal of trouble after a friend smuggled out stuff to write on his Twitter on his behalf. Last I heard of Chrissy, she had plastic surgery to fix her face (the surgeon apparently did it for free) and she was running a CBD place.

There’s a documentary about him on KZbin. Basically he was in the Ultimate Fighter reality show. After a loss he was cut. He was told he needed a winning pro streak to fight in the UFC again. So he would do local fights. He pretty much was an average fighter, but never got that winning streak. Then the indecent w/ his girlfriend happened. By then he hadn’t fought in the UFC for years. Even if he never almost killed his girl, he probably wouldn’t of came to the UFC again because he pretty much sucked as a fighter. If he was good as Khabib or Jon Jones, and he did what he did, then I agree, he should’ve been number 1 on the list.
