Prada Carbon is cool lavender and steel. For me, it is the best of the house, and maybe the #2 blue-ish fragrance, behind BDC EDT. Carbon's lavender is my favorite lavender among designers, and while that lavender is distinct and beautiful on its own, the combination of lavender and the metal accord is what makes Carbon what it is. It makes it a cool lavender, peaceful even, and it's beautiful. I am impressed by it every time I spray it.

I'd have to say the best of the house is easily Prada L'homme Intense. Soapy, lipstick iris, sweet Tonka, a hint of smooth leather, fresh and sweet. It's incredible.

You should mention that the version of The Dreamer that you're talking about is a reformulation of the fragrance. It's technically not the version Gianni Versace CD, no rose in it anymore.

Tobacco Vanille is amazing, but Mancera Red Tobacco scratches the same itch for a more reasonable price.. there's even a Tobacco Vanille clone at CVS for under $30 and it's shockingly pretty spot on..

Man, Invictus has made so much damage... So many brands getting that cheap candy shop smell in as many things as they can... You know the worst part? it is very successful, somehow there are many grown men wanting to smell like a kid that had a sugar overdose a few minutes back. That and the "vanilla and tonka on everything" trend... I love sweet notes when they are placed with measure, but no, these days half the stuff smells like, 1 million, or valentino uomo born in roma, or invictus... I cannot wait until the next thing comes around.
