Thank you for saying that. I thought it was just me since the entire world loves Aventus, and I can't stand it. I can't even sit and enjoy a meal with somebody at the table wearing it. It's way, way too strong and I can't even taste my food. I love perfume, and I love men wearing perfumes and colognes, but I don't like it lingering in my nose all day long. Maybe the people I was around wore too much of it, sometimes when you have a favorite, you no longer smell it so you ladle it on, on your clothes , on your skin until it's just way too overwhelming. I wear Creed and I love a lot of their scents, but somehow, no matter how hard I try, I can't warm up to this particular fragrance.

Hi Steven! Thanks for this video :) I have been through a couple 5 mL decants of Aventus, want to love this fragrance and add to my collection, but it just doesn’t have the longevity on my skin. Five to seven sprays, scent bubble is gone in < less than an hour. I’ll ask someone nearby what they think of my FOTD, they can rarely detect it. Would layering with Molecule 01 aid the projections and/or longevity? I’ve tried Hacivat, but something in that fragrance sets off my allergies. Thanks for any suggestions!

Hey Steven, could you please compile a list of your favorite 10 GINGER fragrances. You may categorize them in light, moderate and strong gingerly facet if you could. Ginger plays a very important role in freshening up a frag and also provide a spicy direction in a fragrance composition so I think it would be a great video.

I don't have all Ten in this list. But the 4 that I have out of these (including Armaf CDNIM if you count that as an Aventus substitute) are absolutely true to every word that you said. Especially Percival. I stopped wearing it because I couldn't smell it off of me after a while. But one day I wore it and I got my first compliment when I least expected it from a female colleague and it took me totally by surprise. I then started to include it as part of my weekly rotation more often and received a lot more compliments ever since, male colleagues included. This just seems to linger and you don't even know about it. Thanks for the review Steven ❣️

Hi Steven, agree on Intimus, even for people of my age. Has a great performance and a "friendly sillage to your partner on late afternoon or night events. Primas is great for open areas in the day, it substitutes my Nishane Hacivat. Percival is also great, love it, but too pricey for what you get in my criteria. I do insist that for work moments on a humid hot weather, it's Navus territory and also Cedrat Boise from Mancera and Prada L'Homme Leau ( on this order ). They do last even if you sweat a lot. Now Aveigh comes in the mix for semi casual events, coconut and some creamy accords are delicious, it's energetic and you get compliments.. And finally there is another gem that it is unique and women really get stock with the smell, mainly for night ocassions, and that is Opulentas, simply a great creation from Navitus.
