Love all the tips in this video! I agree diet is very important - I would love to see a breakfast, lunch and dinner video aimed at anti ageing…

Good video, Alice. When my patients come in with acne or other skin concerns, I always mention the effects of diet on the skin and the body as a whole. People don’t seem to understand that your food is the basis of the building blocks of what your body is made. Most people in the US just want you to prescribe a pill or a cream for them , and not look at diet, exercise, stress management, and other lifestyle changes. You are fortunate that fresh organic food is so readably available France. When I go to Paris, I load up on skin care products. They’re nice to use, but also remind me of my trip. Merçi, Alice! 🌹

Great tips Alice! I swear by my Foreo! I love the way you honor your grandmother and share what she taught you with us. I especially agree about her advice about the smile. She sounds like she was very special. Also, I wanted to personally thank you for sharing the tip in one of your prior videos about the donkey milk and rose powder mask! Total game changer and revelation! If any of you ladies and gentlemen have not watched that video, please do!

Love Sophie Marceau. I’ll never forget her in James Bond, The World is not Enough. She was THE most gorgeous bond girl villain EVER, unforgettable. One other film where i’ve always LOVED the timeless fashion, & found the actress to be supremely beautiful, is a silly little rom-com from the 90’s, Only You, with Marissa Tomei & Robert Downy Jr. & She isn’t french but my goodness gracious, I’ve never seen a woman age as gracefully as Marissa Tomei, she is still sexy, & stunning, I can’t believe she is 60!!! She still looks mid 40’s-early 50’s. I’d love to see you review the fashion of Only You, & how it relates to timeless French chic style. You could do little film fashion reviews if you have any favorite, inspirational films for the fashion. I have seen it done on other channels with different topics, there is an etiquette expert who’s so elegant & soft spoken, her videos are relaxing. She sometimes does etiquette reviews from films with scenes that involve for example a dinner or drinks scene where she can evaluate table manners. I loved the fashion in only you so much, my Grandmother was a seamstress and I actually asked her to make a knock off of the white dress she wears in the film, and she did. I still have it. I do need to slim down and tone up a little bit to ever wear it again, it has side cut outs & a low back, and it was custom tailor made for me in high school. I have always been petite so I haven’t fluctuated much, but I was very slim back then, & I am 5-10lbs softer at the moment. Still, it is one of my most cherished treasures. The fashion in that film really left a lasting impression on me. Love from California❤️🇺🇸

Great video. I agree that natural ingredients work wonders for the skin. One of my favourite French beauty products was the Decleor neroli oil. It’s such a shame this has been discontinued. I will give the rose water a try x

Very good video! I agree with most of what you say but unfortunately in my case, I cannot use Rosewater! I dries out my skin big times!!! The water here in the UK is good to wash your face and I wash my face with an organic lemongrass facial soap and after that I use an organic top quality moisturiser mixed with some drops of almond oil and rosehip oil! I also use some organic lavender eye cream! And I massage my face every morning while using those oils! I am 51 years old and people still keep saying I look 10 years younger! 😊

There are other flower hydrosols that may complement your skin type better, eg, lavender.

@@hiannahgus574 Even though I like to stick with what really works for me, I might try it out one day! Thanks for your tip! ☺️

It seems that dying your hair into old age and refusing to embrace its natural colour is number one.
