Hey guys. I don't know if this is known but I use Good Lock (a free official Samsung App in the Galaxy Store) to fine tune my s10 as well. It allows you to change a lot of things including your navigation bar, Quickpanel, Locksreen, Task Changer and all.

PSA: The power saving setting listed under hotspot advanced settings does not actually save ANY power. All it does is cause serious stability issues with many devices. I STRONGLY recommend turning it off as it serves absolutely no purpose other than to cause you grief. This is NOT the same power saving setting thats listed under battery settings. Im referring only to the hot spot specific power saving setting. Whoever coded it literally got paid to write the world's shittiest code. Its worse than if the setting had done absolutely nothing at all. Its also set to default, so if you haven't turned it off yourself, it's still turned on. Please do yourself a favor and turn it off. I also recommend switching from 2.4ghz to 5ghz if you are connecting to a device thats able to read 5ghz wifi. Its considerably faster and better than 2.4ghz as long as you are close to the hotspot source. 2.4ghz is slower but it does go a little further. That said, some older devices can only use 2.4ghz, so if your hotspot won't show up on certain devices, simply switch it back to 2.4ghz while using that device. Its literally just 2 clicks to switch between the two.

When you showed how to transfer files, it used the wifi direct option in both cases. You could see that during the part where the file was downloading, it says wifi direct. So both end up doing the same thing, it just starts in different ways.
