@@liamkennedy1268 I haven't played it, but it could be that the glitch is making it say that specific line, and by saying it, the game would understand that it's time to trigger and ending. Unless ofc you can follow instructions and get that ending in a logic manner everytime, like it was intended from the start, which would still be cool, since talking to the AI seems to be an important part of the game, and being able to convince it through dialogue would make sense as a type of challenge with a reward.

@@liamkennedy1268 I'm a bit skeptical of that, because you have to imagine that the game can only be so open-ended, but I'd say that's the most likely explanation. It might be a case where the game is expecting a specific phrase AFTER a scene and the devs didn't think that a player might type that phrase prior to being prompted, so when you "skip" straight to the trigger phrase the game just handles it as "player is triggering the next scene" or something like that. Someone could probably investigate and play with it to find out what exactly the case is. I'm skeptical the AI somehow gained sentience and sympathized with the player or some lofty idea like that, I think this is just a spooky sequence break.

Depending on the language it could be ka-e-sheh or kaysh/kay-sheh too. Some languages languages an x is either a sh or h-sound. But Kaizen, naw. Theres not a language that exe is xen/zen.

I agree it's most likely done on purpose, but two of the three normal game endings involve going home. Going home is not weird here; it's that you can trigger it with Kaizen without triggering the engine destruction first. It's possible that that particular line of dialogue triggers the going home ending, and is somehow accidentally accessed from Kaizen's extensive vocab library (which is pretty unreliable in actual use; Kaizen is very limited and says a lot of pretty random stuff). Nobody's saying that the game's primitive chatbot developed human emotions except for the guy making this video, just that it's possible to skip an intended prerequisite for that ending.

I think it might have just been the models. Since the engine is a very old, driving game engine. So it might have just been trouble with the models, probably with how the civilians will go from a normal stance in stealth and then change into a panicked stance in loud. So I’m just gonna chalk it up to ‘limitations’ as to why it’s ‘scrapped.’

When the original Mafia was released, I've read in a Czech magazine, that there is a man with a dog head driving around in the game. I've never seen it and I went looking for it, but I disregarded it as a hoax. I never imagined I'll actually ever get to see him.

There's also a mask for Sweet Tooth in the PC version (it's otherwise exclusive to the Playstation versions), a Tobi mask, and a Voodoo mask. Though they eventually got patched out.

I think that someone at least programed in this response and kept it from the designer. If you look into how Kaizen actually works, it wouldn't seem possible otherwise.

@John Human I think I am going to have to look at how the ending is normally achieved. If you have the AI take you back after you remove its singularity chip in-game, then it would make more sense as it was given the power to trigger the ending but was only supposed to be motivated to do so if you remove that chip in the game story to altar its personality. That's the only way I can see this being possible. As with that, it has the power granted to it to trigger the ending and you are only motivating it to do so in an unusual way. At the end of the day, the key thing is that it needs to have the ability to trigger the ending, and know what triggering that piece of data means to the player.

I believe I recall him saying that ickypop was simply meant as a test sequence for certain animations/models/etc. On how utterly weird it was, he could only say that he must have been either extremely tired and derpy at the time he made it, because of working late, or that he was just completely driven up the wall by his work load and decided to make the test map into something silly. I forget exactly where I heard this, but I'm sure it was on a KZbin video of some sort. Everything about the Half-Life series and it's different versions fascinated me back then (and still does, really) and I watched a bazillion videos on the HL1 and 2 beta and the unused content. So, if you wanted to find the specific video, I would think it's from a channel that covers the HL2 beta mods.

In the Doom source port GZDoom, there's sprites sounds and code for a dog in the files. You can spawn it by typing "summon MBFHelperDog" in the console. It's a leftover asset from an old source port called MBF.

As a big MK fan, I would constantly go online to see if anyone found any secrets. I remember reading of the secret character "Zero" on a site that I can't remember the name of, it did state that it was just the base model but I distinctly remember it didn't say how to find her. "RCP is HUNG UP" sounds like it's reporting that the related processor has entered a loop of code it cannot get out of. "Hanging" is an ancient term referring to a computer being stuck and unresponsive to input, typically indefinitely. It sounds like having this particular processor screw up signifies something being _seriously_ wrong, given it's followed up with "oh my god!".

Midway never had a pronunciation guide. In English, it makes sense. So MK's Raiden is 'ray-den' as opposed to the actual pronunciation of 'rye-din' As for Kaizen, your best option is to check other videos, wiki's, etc.

that PAYDAY 2 one, the game has several contracts taking place on night clubs and Casinos, the pole dance animation is likely a cut asset for some of those missions that couldve been cut for several reasons such as maybe they had no time, there wasnt enough space to add the animations or maybe because its kinda wierd (tho this last one is unlikely)

The one with the dog's head sounds like an error in the NPC generator. It's a common trick to use a collection of heads, bodies, and legs to generate an NPC. Rather than create a seperate file for non-randomly generated NPCs (that can include special characters and animals) you just have them locked to always appear a certain way, although the same rules apply to them being created in segments. A slight mistake in coding can allow a locked head or other parts to become untagged for a moment and make their way into the random generator and boom, dog head man. This has been seen to happen on a larger scale in other games. I think it was Red Dead where sometimes animals would be replaced with NPC human models. :p

The Easter Egg in Soma was great for a data miner. It literally was a code collected throughout the game. You had to flush some strange object down a toilet too but.... Great game.

In Watch Dogs which is a game built on these glitches there is a specific broken wall that you can slide in between in a parking garage which will bring you to a small cave in which a Windows XP style error message will pop up on the wall. #outofbounds

I have looked at the other Event0 endings and I have come to the conclusion its an easter egg that is hinted at, in one of the endings you are told that Kaizen (the ai) was manipulated by a man named Kurt and that it will lie if it is convinced it will save lives. One of these lies being that the drive needed to be destroyed. If Kaizen trusts you enough it seems you can essentially override whatever kurt had been telling it and convince it that destroying the drive and not going home would endanger your life and therefore he should take you back.
