Nice ideas. I noticed some of the solar lights were placed upside down. Hard to charge those since the sun would not reach charging window.

That’s what I thought too!

I'm with you on that. How will it charge
@kekikamiller2 жыл бұрын
Yes and some showed battery operated lights. Also I'm not going to go back and count but felt like more than ten.
@offthehook4u2 жыл бұрын
I was wondering the same thing. If you can't charge them well......there's not going to be any light, right??????
@terricannon-pirozzi49132 жыл бұрын
Exactly my first thought when I saw the first one put in upside down. I don't want to have them out in the sun all day to charge just to have to put them together at night for the light. I want maintenance free!! Cute ideas but not too logical in that aspect. Did I miss something???

Love the light house idea. I just might take that a step farther by adding gnome/Fairy doors by the little windows.

These awesome ideas are shown so fast! I can't keep up! Please, please can you slow down and talk us through it all. I'm OCD and like to do a thorough job the first time around, so to me... preparation and assembly are key!

Use the settings symbol and you can adjust the speed yourself.

Putting the solar panel side down against the glass jar prevents them from charging in the sun.

Ok , these great , look cool and all but , when some of these fixtures are set up in a shaded area , unable to get sun and charge up , that’s when the hassle of having to remember to remove that thing and get it in the sun to recharge , daily .
@marygold66552 жыл бұрын
You made some upside down,and they won't charge.

How do the chandeliers stay charged under cover ?
@melissafields33762 жыл бұрын
These would have to be removed and put in the sun during the day; then replaced at night. Unless you have a uv light shining on them from underneath during the day. I did it that way for about a year. Then I switched to solar string lights

Wow I really loved alot of these. It's tough to pick a favorite. Ima go with the golden hula hoops with the hanging ivy, white flowers &soft lighting. Oh and I also thought, that the last picnic lawn scene was very welcoming with a touch of a romantic glow..idk but thanks for sharing them! -April

Very creative. Only problem is that these are SOLAR lights, so several would have to be taken apart or at least moved to be charged!

Sorry but I just have to say that if you're going to use clay pots for any project; please condition them first!! Then apply a t least 2 coats of sealer on them; completely covering every inch of it. If you don't ; the clay will dry out and crumble after the 1st year or 2. Learned that the hard way!! Lol

5:48 these are battery operated. Still works nicely; though you can buy solar string lights and you wouldn't have to plug it in every night or buy a timer for them

Why are you putting the part that needs to be in the sun to charge facing the bottom of jars. This means everyday you need to take them out to recharge everyday. Misleading for the novice....

Now I see why all the solar lights are gone at Dollar Tree. I've been making these for years.🤗

This is just a combination of ideas from multiple creators without giving the individuals any credit. At least link back to the original videos. Don’t take credit for only compiling.
@briannab52962 жыл бұрын
I'm thinking it's the same couple who made all the videos and compiled together .. i'm just going by the hands in them all... Looks like a man, wife, and a grown daughter team.

There are a few real clever ideas but a few of the designers are placing the solar lights upside down & they will never charge that way. Solar lights need the tops exposed to direct sunlight
@irmarios36782 жыл бұрын
That's way more than10 ideas......lol
@user-pm4ef8yu7w2 жыл бұрын
Too bad those $ Tree solar lights don’t last very long. Pure junk.
@steviesgirlbrenwag Жыл бұрын
I know wha you mean… I have found a trick that works for me. In the winter months I store them in uncovered plastic totes in my gazebo so that they continue to recharge & I get about 2 years (sometimes more) out of them. I think at a $1.25 a light for 2 years isn’t too bad.

Use the clear GORILLA GLUE not the one in vid as it expands while drying like foam sealant spray does

Why don’t you explain what you are doing! Doesn’t help just flying through videos!
@adamcarter68622 жыл бұрын
Hacks???? Non of those were "hacks" It was just videos of solar lights being placed in different holders.
