A lot of you giving comments here abviously do not live in Uganda. May be you just visit and go back to your safe quiet western neighbourhood. Or maybe you just hear of some African country called Uganda where you have never been. These projects get started because the people handling the moneys have to show that something is being done. But these projects will never be realised to completion because even as I write this here the trillions of shillings/millions of dollars allocated to fund them have already been withdrawn from the banks and sitting in some rich government officials small room somewhere in one of his mansons. Nothing gets done in Uganda. Entebbe Expressway is the shortest highway in the world yet it is the most expensive. If you don't know why then visit Uganda more often. What I don't hear in this video is the garrantee that all the moneys allocated to these projects is not waiting for corrupt greedy hands to make themselves super rich while the communities that the project are designed to serve go deeper and deeper into poverty. The dreams are big but without money nothing works, even Kenya had this dreams and never complete part of it without large depth for the country. Looking for the SGR planned which is based on Chinese planning, this is a structure design from the from the 60/70 years! One single track and Diesel Loks driving only 120km/hour never pay of the investments and loans! Cable cars are useless no capacity and not usable as municipal transport another wasted project .
