I can really appreciate that you position of tab at the top of the screen out of the way of the progress bar. That fact alone sets you apart from other channels. I thank you for that as a new subscriber.

Learning Kirk's solos from the 80s made me realize how underrated and overhated Kirk Hammett really is.
@mr.l29025 ай бұрын
Old Kirk is underrated, new Kirk is hated for a reason.

Incredible accuracy and very clean picking! Plus, it seems you've captured the nuances well. Sometimes, the raw errors and minor mistakes in Kirk Hammett's solos are charming points, but your precision brings a different kind of enjoyment.

If I'm not mistaken, that's actually James's solo on Orion, I'm pretty sure Kirk and Cliff do the rest but I'm 95% sure that one is James's. But great playing man! Kirk was such a great soloist when he was younger, its mindblowing to think all of his best solos were made in is early to mid twenties.

Never understood how kirk could make some absolutely amazing solos, and then seemingly forget ablout everything other than the pentatonic scale with a shit ton of wah and absolutely shit himself.

As a drummer who just barely understands my own instrument I’d love to hear your take on the “Kirk is overrated” debate I hear sometimes. I personally love him but I can admit I have no understanding of how difficult these solos are. Would love to hear your view 🙂
@mr.l29025 ай бұрын
Well My opinion about him is that he wrote good solos on The 80's but nowadays it just seems that he doesn't Even care anymore, it feels like he just comes into The studio noodles around on The guitar with a wah pedal and leaves The studio it makes me sport of sad
