One of the most important things he forgot; changing Unhealthy EATING habits - cut out ultra processed foods/sugars - stick to whole foods, vegetables, fruits and watch the oils you cook with and another HUGE one is to cut out or limit alcohol consumption.

Yes at a certain age, a man should limit and consume alcohol for social occasions only. I have a drink only at company events or on a cruise vacation. But outside of that no alcohol at this point drinking will cause you more damage than pleasure

Stop knocking processed foods. Before processed foods many died from acute food borne illnesses - think the chipotle events of a few years ago. Made headlines yet it used to be a daily occurrence even in the USA. Processed foods save lives.

You just begin to live at 50! I got married at 39, and people said, that was too old for marriage. Although, I'm divorced now, I can say I'm glad we waited until we purchased a home before we produced our Son. We did it the rite way. We were married for 15 years, and stayed together forr 2 years. I don't regret waiting until 39 to get married bcuz you have these youngsters getting married in their 20s, and divorced by the time they're 23! They were not yet matured. In closing; you know the old saying; "you are only, as old as you feel" I'm in my 70s and I still feel like I'm 35. No alcohol, herb or DRAMA! Those dis-eases age you quick, fast and in a hurry! This is a great Video. This brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

I've been shaving my head since 1983. I'm 64 now and still shaving it, so I really don't even need to worry about any grey showing. I started walking 3 miles per day and weight training, and also do 1 meal a day and that one meal is all about nutrition. I just recently had my annual checkup (so I don't get tossed out of that medical organization) and the head nurse was truly amazed at how healthy I am, and she even remarked that I don't look my age. Made me feel real good. It's never too late to get your life in order.

Shaving on a regular basis. Even if you decide to wear a beard, keep it trimmed and neat. Not too scruffy. Even if you're retired proper grooming goes a long way. This includes your mustache. It's OK to have grey hair as long as you don't appear like you've been a bear returning from hibernation. Everything else you've mentioned are excellent tips too.

My Dad taught me how to dress when I was in grade school. He would take me to buy my clothes, and showed my how they should fit on me. He also showed me how to size my shoes with my finger tips. If my toe was too close to the end of the show, he told me to get another size! When I was in grade school he bought me some cologne called THE BOOT. It came in a boot and was the baddest cologne I ever wore. It smelled so good the girls flocked all over me! To this day I have over 10 fragrances I wear. I don't like to wear the same fragrance every day! I'm retired and I still stay fresh bcuz it's my nature, which I learned from my Dad, who was an excellent dresser, provider, and worker. Him & my Mom were married over 60 years until they transitioned to the Spiritual Realm. My Son is a duplicate of me! You know what's up!

BAM! That's the problem with our young brothers; most of them have no fathers in the home to teach them the rite way! The majority, if not all of the young brothers I see are always in blue jeans, sneakers, a baseball cap, and an oversized t-shirt, THINKING they're clean. No dress pants at ALL! These mothers, who talk down on their fathers, who are not there are also at fault. They claim, they don't want a man, but they wonder why their sons are growing up; in and out of prison, beating on their women, or ending up with make-up and lipstick on their faces! I'm keeping it a 1000.

My cousin is a barber and he's been at for over 50 years! He told me to never put those dyes on my beard or hair bcuz it sinks thru your skin and could cause skin or brain damage! Those dyes have chemicals in them that will mess up your natural skin and hair follicles. I stay natural, and all you have to do is keep your beard at a low level and lined up, and it will look great without the chemicals.

I loved this . I’m a natural OG Santa “New Age Santa!” You missed two obvious, ones. Ear hair progression and nose hair progression. As we manage age, we get thinner hair on top and more hair elsewhere as you hit on with shoulder and back hair observation. Well, in addition to eyebrows - nose and ear hair gets “out of control!“. I’m going to keep following you, young brother. I may reach out to you in the future to maybe collaborate on this topic in particular. In my profession, I need to appear vital yet older. This is what I do and love the opportunity to do it with families, and 9:33 children who are still “true believers!” 🎅🏾

I started sprouting grey at 18; it started to get out of hand when I turned 30 spreading to my beard. I never liked the way I looked without facial hair. I've been told I look young for my age, people would say I look 8-10 years younger than I actually am. The other day I was talking to a female co-worker who is 9 years older than I am and she thought I was her age because of my grey beard. It really humbled me lol. I'm now seriously thinking of getting rid of it. I knew this day would eventually come but damn it's become part of my identity the past 15 years.

I always thought pedicures were for “soft” men…. Until my wife got me a manicure and pedicure for my 37th birthday….. It felt like I missed an important pleasure and reward towards myself!!! I don’t know WHY OR HOW I LET A FOOLISH ASSUMPTION cause me to deny myself a truly amazing treatment for so many years. Now I get facials, manicures and pedicures at least once a month!!! You couldn’t see stress on me if I told you!!! Treat yourself Kings!!! You definitely deserve it!!

Never let society dictate to you; how you should keep and take care of yourself. If, I see a woman with dirty nails & feet, I don't talk to her bcuz her house is probably the same way she looks. Therefore, if a woman sees a man with dirty toe & fingernails not done; she will think the same way of you. Hygiene has nothing to do whether you're a man or a woman! Glad you woke up, my brother! I don't get facials bcuz I use witch hazel (no alcohol), lotion with herb & vitmin D in it, and I use real African soap on my face & body. I'm in my 70's and I look half of my age with no wrinkles! I exercise (at home), read, research & rite to keep my mind tight! I know it's spelled w-rite, but I had to throw in the 3 r's.

🫡SAAAAALUTE!!! This video should be the template for ALL men in their Fabulous 40s 50s and 60s who want to put a choke hold on Father Time by looking vibrant and full of vigor. Following these great tips will certainly allow mature, "seasoned" men to feel great about themselves no matter how many Birthdays they are blessed to continue to celebrate. Love the skin care tips the most because with our skin being the greatest organ of our bodies, when we neglect or abuse it, the years of abuse will definitely start to show. Great video here!👏👏👏👏

You can be well groomed, in shape, and fashionable, or unkempt, out of shape, and old fashioned. The important thing is that you're comfortable in your own skin.

Who wants to be old, unkept, out of style, and not well groomed? I don't feel rite, unless I'm clean on the inside, as well as, on the outside! A REAL LADY wants a man, that takes care of himself, and there's a difference between a lady, a woman, and a fe-male. A lady has class & style, a woman is bold & loud, and you already know, what a fe-male dog is called! I PREFER A LADY!

Attitude, vibe, aura, whatever you want to call it. You have to be comfortable in yourself, mind and body. That is a like a magnet. If you walk around with your head in 'troubles', like politics and stuff, that manifests, people feel it. Not that you should not be paying attention and learning about all aspects of the world, just don't let it get to you. Love makes you Loved.

Very good points O.G. I’ve watched a lot of your videos and it has given me great pointers. Your channel is very helpful towards men that have lost their fathers at a young age and don’t have a person who can help them in the process of growing into a refined older gentleman. I would just and to this (the men who decided to shave their heads instead of trying to hold on to it) keep your head with a clean look. This is one thing that I feel personally makes me look older and uncomfortable. When that shadow turns into the Homer Simpson look. Keep a razor in your bag for the touch ups.

Making sure ear and nose hair are trimmed. Big one that I’ve noticed as I get older ( mid 30s currently) is knowing when to just let the hair go. Having a horse shoe with the moon roof showing or a comb over isn’t doing you any favors. Ppl can still notice despite what you tell yourself. Zero it, shave it, or get a transplant.

So, I try to maintain my head shaved since I was going bald in my mid twenties, and thanks to genetics, I also started going grey around the same time. Which sucks, because growing a nice beard is all I had. And now when I do, it just made me look so much older. I'm 40, and folks are surprised because of that abundance of salt. I tried dying it once and I felt stupid. I don't mind some grey, but what are the alternatives?
