Having a little basket with all your purse Essentials is definitely a must-have for me. Currently I carry a small to mid-size purse but it gets full very quick and I get really anxious and bothered when it's over cluttered. At least twice a week I go through my bag and clean it out and take out all the things I don't need in it. I also use this basket for when I'm in a rush to clean out my purse I'll just dump all the extras in there and go through it later.

Another tip that I have cultivated over the years is to purchase Vera Bradley hard cases for my sunglasses. I am partial to Oscar de la Renta sunglasses & pick them up whenever I find them at a great price. The hard case protects the glasses & because the VB cases come in so many beautiful fabrics I can find one to compliment each of my bags. This way I have sunglasses in their case in every one of my bags. It's one less thing I have to transfer.

Good video!! I have a tip as well. For my busy, running around life, I love just using a wallet on chain that I can keep in the console of my car. Which I can then just pop into my handbag when I'm going somewhere dressed up. Running errands? just grab the wallet on chain...love it!!

1 of 3) I use the wipes all the time!!!!! The last place I worked was so dirty it was hard not ruining clothes, bags, shoes EVERYTHING that I took inside. I was cleaning my bags every 2 days! I'm one of those people that gets a bag and uses it every day for a month with timeouts for special events. So those wipes are lifesavers for me. 2) I never even thought of spraying my bags like we do shoes!!!! 3) I didn't even know they had organizers you could buy for the big totes!! I have (don't laugh, it was a freebie) camo green or turn the other way and green camo print. Huge tote. And I was using like makeup bags to sort stuff into and throw those in. And it works ok but it was not always easy if I didn't remember which one I put an item in. I themed the bags like clippers, nail file, sm lotion, small sanitizer for example. Also you can overload a tote because hey its BIG. My beloved retired chiropractor handed me my bag from the wall peg and I kid you not said Woman lighten the load!!! WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN THERE. I blamed it on having 3 kids and being prepared. Yeah he didn't believe.me either! Anyway I can't wait to shop organizers!!!! Thank you Shea Whitney!!!!

Great tips! esp about the Pochette! I have the same One, and use it in all my bags! Everytime i pull it out at the LV store teh CA's always tell me how sooooo many people still ask about that size! For my bigger bags, I use My Galaxy Pochette Voyage. Also a great piece for essentials as well as the added benefit of having card slots and a a bill spot for easier access for valet, and etc, rather than pulling out the whole zippy!

That pouchette changed my life. Lol it’s my Mary Poppins bag. It’s so small but I can fit EVERYTHING I need in it. It really is the perfect catch all bag. I either use that or my Michael Kors pouchette and it effortlessly hops from bag to bag to diaper bag! and then it’s so cute just on its own.

Shea love since you like many of us like to have organizers inside our handbags, I have organizers for my Chanel Minis and jumbos as well to keep their shapes (although I find that I don’t really need them for that, since many of them I had them for a long time and recently is when I inserted their organizers). Also, inside the organizers I have now air pillows, it gives me the impression that helps with moister;). Thanks for the tips, what I would love to see is a video (you will be the first one on KZbin 😉) as how you keep the LV canvas so shiny, do you use something after you clean dirt with baby wipes?. Last, the only thing that I have tried and did not work at all for me was the Moso natural bag :(. Great video!

Leather care is really important. Different companies sell leather conditioners and have care info on how to clean and moisturize. Do your research on how best to take care of the type of leather your bags are made of. I really like Coach's leather conditioner as well and neatsfoot oil. The conditioners are made from different fats and oils, and can go rancid with age, so replace regularly. If you've ever smelled old olive oil or nuts, you can smell the rancidity. You don't want your bag to smell like that. There's so many bag lovers forums and tutorials that will help you figure out what products you should use for different leathers. Some leathers have protective coatings, and they're usually easier to care for. The company that makes the bag will have the best advice on the best care. Usually the products aren't expensive, unless they're in a special kit with brushes and a branded storage bag. You really only need the recommended cleansers and conditioners. You can also get waterproofing sprays (I cannot recommend suede waterproofing enough --I have a suede jacket I wear all the time because I waterproofed it and have a little suede shoe care brush I use to keep the suede looking nice) and even products that contain beeswax or oils that protect the leather and make it water resistant. If you're in doubt, take your bag to a shoe and bag repair shop and talk to them about what to use. Some products will darken lather, and some leathers naturally develop a darker patina with age and use. For mild cleaning on most smooth leathers, you can use warm water on a soft white cotton cloth (you'll be able to see if any dye starts coming off) and if you need something a little stronger, add a couple drops of dish soap like Dawn. Just a drop or two in a cup of warm water. You can also spot clean. I would be careful about using products like baby wipes because they usually have ingredients that protect baby's skin, and these ingredients will coat the leather. Water is often enough, and then you dry the leather with a soft cotton cloth. Old white tees work really good. For a bag in bad shape, I like Murphy's oil soap if the leather can stand it. I have restored old saddles and saddle leather bags with a little Murphy's and then some creamy leather conditioner or neatsfoot oil for dark leather than needs a lot of conditioning. This works really well for thrift store finds that need some TLC, like old Coach and Dooney and Burke saddle leather bags. There's a lot of great tutorials on how to use Murphy's, and I suggest watching them, because too much of the product can leave a residue. I also love putting scarves on my bags. It's a great way to tie your clothes, shoes, coat, and bag together. Say you have on red shoes with dark denim and a navy tee with a cream sweater and want to carry a cobalt blue bag. If you have a scarf with the reds and blues in them, you've just upped the chic factor of your outfit. Another example is when your bag and shoes aren't quite the same shade of red. If you have a scarf with multiple shades of red and whatever colors your outfit is, then you can pull your look together. Looking matchy matchy can be a bit old ladyish anyway. I also love that my scarf can help protect my bag in the rain or even cover my hair if it's a large one. There's a lot of tutorials on how to fold scarves and tie them to your bags.

My experiences with the foldable purse hook have not been great. The composition of the ones I've tried are a cheap metal alloy and the hinges frequently break and the hook is useless. I've picked up a different type of hook that works well, but isn't foldable.
