The command hooks with curtain rod is BRILLIANT! I wanted to do a command hook to hang a plant but quickly dismissed the idea because I didn't have faith in 1 hook holding the plant but with your idea got the strength of 7 hooks holding up 2 plants + 1 lightweight rod and I trust that to stay up for a long time. Thank you!

Agree. Just make sure the pain on the wall is still pretty good so it doesn't peel off.

Some ceilings have metal beams in them and you can buy a super strong magnet… And they even make magnets with hooks on them and these magnets sometimes can hold up to 50 pounds :-) Just take a magnet off of your refrigerator and feel about your ceiling until you find out it sticks (or it doesn’t stick) to figure out if you have metal beams in your ceiling anywhere or not :D

@@Alumirust hahaha happy to help! Just make sure you buy the good / strong magnets, of course! And definitely with a hook on them. If you test a strong flat magnet, without a hook to grab onto, you might not be able to remove it… don’t ask me how I know! 😅

I have my plants on 3 stacked Ikea lack tables, with 3d printed connectors, but you could use glue, lack tables are super cheap. And give more surface than shelf units you buy. The top table i took off the front leg for an open shelf, you can do that with more, just not the bottom, & make sure the back legs are secure (I added strong tape to the keep the connectors in place for that table just to be sure) You need plant lights as they are too dark without, the lights really set it off as a display piece too. 😊 I am planning on covering or painting the bottom of the tables white so it looks finished & will reflect the light. They are easy to screw into, so could hang;small plants. For our craft room we printed brackets to screw in that hold plastic drawers, I had one full of paper which was heavy, using 3 brackets, I wouldn't put really heavy pots on 1 hook. You can attach 2 lack tables turning the bottom 1 upside down , connecting the legs to create a tall space, put tall plants on the bottom, small ones on the top. We did this for a 3d printer as a temporary unit for it, we ended up using it for a couple years so they can handle a decent amount of weight.
