Club Black just works in the winter months and pushes off skin pretty heavy. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the slightly feminine opening but I’ve gotten great feedback from a lot of people when I wear it, so I can live with it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Raghba is a another amazing Vanilla Gourmand. I have the older style bottle with the older cap. Last all day and smells great. Bentley Intense is a given at this time of year as is Lalique Encre Noire. Lataffa Oud For Glory another belting cool weather clone as is Charuto Tobacco Vanille. I also love Reminiscence Patchouli for the cooler months.

Maybe it's just me and I love the way spicebomb extreme smells but I get mostly the vanilla and lavender coming off of me I only seem to get the spices and tobacco when I smell it close to my nose now for me Sauvage elixir brings the spices to the front along with lavender it also smells amazing my female friends have called it intoxicating unlike spicebomb love at first smell agree 1005 with Ash elixir takes a few wears but then you and your lady friends will love it as it also smells amazing just in a different way the sb.

If u can handle the opening of spice bomb of cumin after that it's very nice. I tried layering spice bomb extreme with Montale Arabian tonka. One spray of tonka and 3 spray of spicebomb. I was getting murdered with Arabian tonka. I tried baccarat Rouge 540 with Tonka. Tonka took over baccarat Rouge like no tomorrow

Could be skin chemistry? Mine works fine. I can smell it in the shower the next day from my skin or on my pillow after sleeping. I had a similar experience with Azzaro WBN recently though, couldn't smell it at all after one hour when testing on my skin and everyone raves about that scent.

Sauvage EDT is my favorite from the line, but I love elixir. I even made an 8ml decant where I mixed them both and it is 🔥🔥, wore it not too long ago. Get best of both worlds, spices and sweetness from elixir with some added freshness. The EDT pokes its head out a little more on the dry down, but it mostly just serves to freshen up elixir a bit. I love the mix

Can you make a video on fragrances expiring (if they do) and how to prevent them from doing so? I've seen some sites say that they expure within 2 years or so, which I have a hard time believing, since I have had some of my bottles for 4 years +. If they do expire, it kinda makes collecting a fruitless endeavour :(

I have half a bottle of the original Invictus from 2013-2014 still smelling great. I don't think fragrances actually go bad if you utilize some common sense like not leaving it out in the sun or taking it to the sauna.

Fragrances will expire if you keep them near the shower, or near sunlight. But assuming you store them correctly then they can last for years and years. Some cheaper bottles might have a seal issue, but that’s not common enough to worry about.

What's a blue or green fragrance? What do people mean when they refer to fragrances like that? Are there red and black fragrances, or yellow ones too? Is it the ingredients? I mean, blue fragrances don't typically have blueberries in them. And what's an aquatic fragrance? I mean, what does water smell like? I can't really pick a scent on it. And what's up with seasonality and temperatures? Why is one fragrance better for summer versus the spring or winter? Would you mind talking about this in one of your videos?

From my understanding, blue refers to aquatic and ambroxan fragrances. Green ones have green notes like pine, juniper, and other scents that make the association with things that are green. I don't think "black" fragrances are a thing exactly. Ones that come in black bottles are typically night and/or cold weather fragrances. Idk if Red is a fragrance type, per say, either. But you can look at spice bomb infrared, ralph lauren red, red extreme, parfume, and others. This is just my understanding so if anyone thinks I'm wrong, feel free to correct me.

Also most of the stores who still sell it are mostly untrustworthy smaller shops. Bigger ones like notino, flaconi, brasty, parfum-zentrum or douglas dont have it in stock for some time now. Also you cant order it on Pradas website. If you select the option "searching in stores", you can only find a single store in Berlin, which still has it in stock. All in all the development in the last days seems very weird, if they are not discontinuing it. At least in my opinion, but I am still unsure as well.

I am a fan of 1980s scents, such as Drakkar Noir and Cacharel Pour L'Homme etc. but I am not fussed on Sauvage Elixir in any way. It seems to have a bit of an identity crisis as far as I can see. It does not seem to know if its a blue fragrance or a resinous niche type fragrance and for me it therefore fails as both.
