I am what I consider a "sigma" and I have fewer friends as I get older. I am generally well liked but honestly would rather have 3 or 4 real good friends than 20 that you don't really have any loyalty with or deep connection and it's just a surface level friend or drinking buddy type of thing. I have no problem slowly phasing people out when they show me their true character over the years. I have no issues doing things by myself or going somewhere alone I actually enjoy it more sometimes....not all of the time...I'm not trying to be a lone wolf or loner all of the time and we need to have some friends but if nobody wants to do what I want to do or go where I want to go being alone is definitely not going to hinder me from doing it.
