I’m changing to be a CEO 😜😜 Payment definitely depends on the years of experience which gives you negotiating power in the market. Other things to consider are registrations (with career bodies), professional growth & extra trainings you’ve done etc. Mia Nasheya pulled my ears here. We want the money (and experience 😅)💰 💰

Thus a CEO at City of Windhoek is paid 3 times higher than a minister in Namibia as ministers earn around +100,000 monthly.

President of the official opposition in Namibia Parliament like Mchenry Venaani earns 90,000 monthly as his salary. In South Africa its abit high. a director in Government earns 1 million per year. Whereas a state Director in Namibia is around 780,000 per annum. However, there are managers and General managers in parastatals and private companies in Namibia who earn beyond 1 million per annum.

CEO is highest paid. I am talking from experience. I know of a CEO of state diamond parastatal earning 450,000 per month. City of Windhoek CEO also earns around 300,000 monthly. Am not even reffering to private companies.

But I am having some doubts if whether i should study fashion and spend all those years studying and end up having no job and disappointing my family.

Nice, so based on observations, you mentioned CA at Number 4, how about someone majoring in one of the 4 majors of accounting?? Let's say I have the highest qualifications in one of the majors, but not a CA

Your position will than determine what your salary scale will be. If you end up being a finance manager or CFO or Head of Finance or Director of Finance with that qualification, you can also get a higher salary. Or even a management accountant if you did a postgraduate in that or added CIMA as a qualification

I think the best way is to check out the private hospital websites and see if they have any vacancies or get in touch with them. There's also the issue of getting registered with the health professional council of Namibia, again you can check out their website for procedures etc, perhaps they can also direct you should you wish to apply at public hospitals or open your own practice. Some of the private practices are: Windhoek Neurosurgical Centre, Lady Pohamba Private hospital, Welwitschia Private hospital, Ongwediva Medipark, Medi Clinic
