That’s how I deal with the mundane chores as a SAHM. I praise God when I start to get overwhelmed. Thank you for the food I get to clean off the plates. Thank you for clean water to wash dishes. Thank you for my dishwasher. Thank you for all these clothes you’ve given us and the places we went that got them all dirty. Thank you for my children and all the toys you’ve blessed them with. Thank you thank you thank you! Even when my husband and I are arguing I’m thankful he’s alive and I get to argue with him. Thanking God gets me away from depression station and gives me a ticket to the JOY train.

What a lovely video. Thank you for making and sharing. I am a Christian woman who has learned a long lesson that my job is in my home taking care of it my husband and children. Knowing that this is God's plan gives me such drive to do my best. Something I used to despise is now something I am trying to find joy in. My joy is in the Lord so listening to videos like these or worshipping makes these moments precious and rewarding.

I agree. You are so lucky and blessed if you're able to be a full-time homemaker. Working a job rarely brings joy or contentment. Jobs usually bring stress, removes time from our schedules, and contributes to exhaustion. Your house is beautiful. x

Many, many times a wife's income can help relieve financial stress. And it is a blessing for children to have a break from their mother to have a chance to grow and be around others. If you're raising your children correctly then you need not fear outside influences.

This was absolutely beautiful -- your family is so very blessed to have you!! In Hebrew, the word for 'home' is the same as the word for 'wife' -- so quite literally, when the wife is not at peace, the home is not at peace; when the wife is not joyful, the home is not joyful; when the wife is flat, the home is flat. We set the tone for the home -- we ARE the home! 🏡❤️ (From a Jewish, homeschooling, homemaking mama -- I met my husband when I was 13 and he was 15 (we were penpals! he was in Nebraska, I was in Australia), we met in person when I was 17, married when I was 19 and had our first child when I was 20. That was 18 years ago!! and boy oh boy, what a wonderful, WONDERFUL life!)

Wow I think the Lord sent me this video. I prayed for years before having children that the Lord would allow me to be a full time homemaker. And He has surely made a way. I now have 3 young daughters 6 and under and I am so tired at times. I get so discouraged with the mundane tasks and have trouble with relaxing during the mess of young children. Lately I’ve been tempted to think it would just be easier if I went back to work, but I could never leave my children with strangers. But this was a great reminder of God answering my prayers and his will for my life. Thanks for this video

Fabulous! It's not often you hear this perspective anymore. My husband and I were married when I was 19 (almost 20) and my husband was 24. We met just a couple months after I turned 18 and probably would have been married sooner had my parents been more on board. 😅 2023 will make 10 years that we've been together. 1/3 of my entire life so far and wouldn't wish it any other way! Excited to see you grow into a mom and homeschool family someday!

Awww, what a beautiful video! Biblical womanhood is SO important... and the role of a homemaker strengthens the world- I honestly believe so. Imagine if we had more mama's at home, more husband's being supported & more kiddos have that solid foundation? Amazing! Love finding other homemakers here in KZbin land- it's one of my favorite topics to share about! XO

I love this! I got married young aswell at 19. I love that you got married and became a homemaker even before having kids. I feel like most women work until kids bc they feel there is not reason enough to be at home. but I like you became a homemaker as soon as I got married and I helped my husband in whatever way I could. for us that was helping him start and grow a lawn care business. But it's so important to look after your home and be available to your husband during the day. I loved it. And once you do have kids in my opinion it's an easier transition that going from working to being a full time homemaker. Blessings to you and your fam!

You are definitely a beautiful soul! I was just really finding a steady relationship with the Lord at your age. I always thought I’d get married young, but I didn’t get married until I was 27. However, I learned a lot over those years that helped me become a better woman of God, wife and now mama. I’m now blessed with a wonderful husband for a year now, and a sweet 2 month old baby girl at 28. I long to be a full time homemaker soon, but for now the little bit I do work, helps me see how blessed I truly am!

I was very curious as to how you have so much time to do all that in the morning, but then you mentioned you don’t have kids yet and it clicked. 😅 I have to wait till my kids have quiet time to get all that done. Honestly though, it’s refreshing to see young women taking their role as wife and homemaker seriously. As someone who got married two weeks after I turned 21, I felt very alone. Now I’m 3 kids and 10 years in and can see God’s hand upon me even in that season. Thank you for helping other young wives feel less alone.

You are doing so much more than most! What a blessing for your daughter! You’re sacrificing so that she can have a better education. I honestly believe that doing the bare minimum is better than a public school education (which I had). I was an only child, too, and would have loved for my mom to do what you’re doing. She was a single mother and couldn’t, but she did her best and I think the world of her. You are doing great!

I just found this video and it was so encouraging. I work part time and waiting on the Lord for a child, but I struggle with trying to keep up with the home. It feels never-ending, even with just me and my husband. But I always appreciate a reminder that doing work in the home is not to impress others or to achieve a Pinterest home, but it's work unto the Lord and a way to bless my husband (and God willing, future children). I enjoyed this video and appreciate the reminder while I clean and tidy up my own home this morning.

I love the blessing of being able to serve my husband and support him by making a safe, beautiful, and peaceful home for him to be at outside of work. First time watching a video of yours after you coming up first for me searching "Christian homemaking" "First thing in the morning straightening up and cleaning" ahhhhhh noo.... I'm already frustrated watching and had to turn it off 🙈🙈🙈 i used to "tidy up" First thing in the morning and realized how much it frustrated me First thing in the morning. I don't go to sleep anymore without tidying up my kitchen and downstairs living area. We have 4 kids. We spend time together and then together i have kids help tidy. Yes they are tiny tots but even they can help. I quickly load dishes in dishwasher. Wipe counts ect. No deep clean. But just nice and tidy. My morning moods have done complete 180 since. I wake up and I'm so happy to get going instead of dreading coming downstairs knowing I'll be cleaning up First thing from night before. Anyways. I'm glad it works for you. I just didn't find this video relaxing and made me frustrated imagining myself doing this first thing in the morning 😅

Thanks so much for watching sweet friend! ❤️ It’s definitely so easy to get caught up in the everyday but when we stop and think about what we’re doing and the why behind it, it becomes more joyous and an honorable position from the Lord! 🥰

Hey, I came across your video after searching 'homemaker wife bible' on KZbin. I'm currently in a season of moving into a home with my husband. The process is just starting and im seeking how to bring the Lord into my home before anything else- i want him to be present through me and im so happy your video came up. I pray for our future home to be God-Filled and a place that always welcomes us to be better people and strengthen our love and relationship with God. The process of buying the home seems impossible for us in human understanding but I believe that the Lord wants this joy for us! Going to carry on watching your video's now and please do a testimony/story-time about your love journey! Xxxx

Just stumbled upon your video tonight. I really enjoyed it. I too I met my husband when I was 19. We really had no intention to but we ended up courting for two months and then we were engaged for 2 months. In these 4 months we did intense marriage counseling and got married. 22 years later we are still wonderful in love. Wishing you and your husband the best. Thanks for the wonderful video.

what a beautiful video you made, thank you your voice is amazing to listen to. I would very much like to raise my children with home education, but unfortunately here in the Netherlands that is hardly possible. I am very grateful that they go to a Christian school, our school is therefore called "school with the Bible". Thank you for the tips, lots of love from a mother from the Netherlands♡♡

Stay fervent in prayer sweet friend! I believe that the Lord knows the desires of our hearts and he wouldn’t give us those desires, as long as they are of Him, without a purpose. Waiting is SO hard. But keep trusting and praying. God has big plans for your life! Praying for you! ❤️🙏🏼

@@ThePendryHome Thank you so much for your prayers and your kind words! My prayers are also for you and yours. When I was 16, I prayed that God would send me a dream showing me how my life would be if I served God. I was sent a beautiful dream. One of the details of my future was being married by the age of 20 and starting a family. But I didn’t serve God until I was 22. When I was in my late 20s, I lived content in the Lord and as though I might never marry. After choosing to serve God, I had a series of dreams about a man, one every 2 years, so I knew God had another man for me, despite me not serving Him when I was young. When the 2 year mark came and I was expecting the 4th dream, God allowed me to meet him. Before I met him, God made it clear to me that he wasn’t in a good place and he might choose or not choose to be with me. I prayed to know whether God had someone else for me if he chose a different path. When we were still talking and I was fasting and praying about us, he was distancing himself and God started showing me that He had another plan if this man failed. At the age of 29-30. I had a dream where I received a prophecy. It told me that God had a husband and children for me. I prayed for confirmation. I received a prophecy that told me that God had seen where I had sought Him concerning a companion and that He had visited me in my thoughts and dreams. Then, the following year, a prophet came from out of state and told me that the love on this earth would fail me, but God’s love never would. I fasted the following day and, when I was in prayer before I broke the fast, God spoke to me and told me, concerning a companion, to lay it at His feet, leave it there, to not pick it up again, and to be very, very patient. I went to church the next Sunday and another prophet from out of state spoke the same exact words God had spoken to me when I was fasting. He did end up eventually walking down another path and it was very sad, but God started sending me dreams of another man. I’m shown almost nothing about him. God wants me to be fully surprised this time. I only know that he is good to me, so that rules out everyone who has asked me out in the last 3 years, unfortunately. I have faith that God will keep His promises to me if I serve Him. I also have a beautiful life with Him. I survived a stroke in 2019. You couldn’t even tell that I’ve had one. I’m fully living on my own for the first time in my life since February. God has been so good to me.

@@Daisha92 I’m very thankful that God has confirmed to me that this desire is from Him. There are many who desire, but never see their dreams come into fruition and have to surrender to God’s will. God knows I have definitely had to surrender some of mine. I only hope and pray that I can do my part in God’s plan and don’t get in the way of what He’s doing. 😊

Praying God causes your womb to be fruitful so that you and your husband can have as many children as God intends. May the Lord strengthen you each day as you follow Him so closely. You have abundant wisdom in Him, and I praise Him for you sharing His Word with women to be encouraged to keep their homes. I wasn’t able to stay at home until about 6 years ago. My youngest is 15, but we also have a 22 year old and a 29 year old (she is married and they have a beautiful baby girl). I always wanted to be a stay at home wife and mom, and I was so tickled when God granted it, even though it was later in life. 🙏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾♥️

Hi new friend I just subscribed, this was the first video of yours I came across and I really just love your spirit and I love your story about you and your husband getting married young. My husband and I met when we were 15 and started dating at 17 got married at 22 and had our first baby at 24. We are now 33 with three children we home school and I love it. My husband took the kids out of the house for me this evening and brought them to a movie I want to have them come home to a clean cozy house with a candle going. I needed a little bit of motivation and you hit the spot for me thank you so much 😊
