I know it’s a video game, but if you ever play or watch a playthrough of Until Dawn, it’s entirely worth it. The plot revolves around the death of two sisters after a prank goes wrong at a family owned lodge on a mountain. The story was really well done and I wouldn’t mind seeing a film adaptation one day, even if it’s one of those “butterfly effect survival depends on your actions” games.

Carrie is a most satisfying film for those of us who were bullied endlessly by our peers and teachers at school. In my darkest moments, I have often thought of the most horrific ways of exacting a terrible revenge against those who tormented me. My past has definitely clouded my whole life, having gone from being a passive and quiet child, to an adult who has no empathy for others, and a cynical and dark outlook on life.

The book death for Carrie is different, she lays waste to the town and then her heart gives out from overuse of her power. It's actually sad. There are some survivors and I forget her name but one girl finds her and holds her hand til she passes (if I recall correctly)

In certain cases of extreme rage and emotional distress the smallest of people can easily become the biggest bullies nightmare
@Foxxie0kun3 жыл бұрын
This is especially a good lesson to teach if the bullies are targeting a "gentle giant" type. The gentle giant can send you to the hospital or put you in the obituaries if you push that button enough times. Back when I was in high school, I was meek and non-confrontational and typically relied on school faculty to take care of issues. Then two weaselly little pieces of shit decided they'd harass me for an entire semester for being out of the closet. One day I had had enough, told them it stops today and never happens again. They decided the appropriate response would be to kick me in the crotch and start hitting me. They, uh, didn't like that I gave back tenfold what I got and then some, but the faculty handed them a three week suspension and promised to give the security camera footage to the state prosecutor if my mother and I wanted to press assault and battery charges. My mom, ever the saint she still is to this day, merely said if they paid to replace my damaged/bloodstained clothes and dropped the class, she'd not have them prosecuted and let things rest. Sadly, the Principal and VP said they couldn't compel the students to drop the class unless I had legal standing such as a restraining order or a pending criminal charges against them, so mom let it stand at them paying a few hundred bucks to replace my clothes and a 3 week out of school suspension.

Yep. I was hoping that it would be No Escape/Follow Me at the number 1 as that film definitely shows how a prank gone to far can ruin a person's life. Basically the plot is "spoiler alert" A Logan Paul-esque KZbinr named Alex who has a successful prank/stunt show on KZbin called Escape from Reality and in honor of the show's 10th anniversary Alex along with his girlfriend and best friend decide to do a special episode filmed in Moscow Russia where they go through a escape room, however Alex and his friends are kidnapped by a man who is seemingly a serial killer and Alex is put through various mental and psychological tortures however when Alex sees his girlfriend and best friend supposedly dying brutal and gruesome deaths he snaps and seemingly avenges them by beating to the death the man who put him through this mental and psychological torture session and seemingly murder his girlfriend, and best friend however the shocking ending reveals that Alex's girlfriend and best friend are still alive due to the fact this whole nightmare Alex went through was a prank his girlfriend and best friend wanted to pull on him in order to celebrate Escape from Reality's 10th anniversary meaning Alex who had no idea it was a prank murdered in cold blood via psychotic rage a innocent man in on the prank and to make things worse the whole thing including the murder Alex committed in his psychotic-rage fueled state was being video-taped and uploaded onto the show's KZbin Channel, with the film's closing scene being Alex's combined look of shock and guilt over the realization of the brutal crime he had no idea he was committing. And this film's ending does not get any better upon further examination as the horrifying realization is even if Alex is not found guilty of the murder due to insanity his entire life is for a lack of a better term the murder being taped lived and uploaded onto the Internet means Alex's Social Media Career is over, his fans are all gone, his girlfriend is going to break up with him and his best friend is going to want nothing to do with him due to the fact they now believe he is a unhinged psychopath, and because of this whole incident including unknowingly murdering someone Alex is now going to have massive mental and emotional trauma for a good while.

Horror movies are the reason why I hate stupid pranks. I renege when I was a teen, my dumbass brother jumped out of a garbage can dressed like an evil clown, trying to scare me. I didn't hesitate, I pinched him repeatedly in the face, head and throat before kicking the whole can down the stairs, breaking his arm and collar bone. My brother was lucky he didn't die. My mom was absolutely pissed about the whole situation, and my brother got so much shit for doing that, while I only got a little scolding, since I reacted in self defense. It was a lesson neither of us would soon forget. He never pranked anyone after that, and to this day I despise pranksters. I'm all for a good joke, but powering on others for your own entertainment is not funny. It's selfish, narcissistic, and when it inevitably goes wrong, you have nobody to blame but yourself.
