I will use this technique to make replacement parts that are no longer available on my MK2 Supra. I can print body mouldings and then coat them in Carbon Fiber to have a better than stock trim set.

Hello, good job! Your videos are really amazing and I will definitly try your method. A quick tip though, you can trim the carbone fibers from the part with a standard utility knife if you do it before the resin is completely cured. Around the first third / half of the curing time should be good. This will simplify this step and you will no longer need all your equipments 😄 for this operation.

Excellent video! Do you have any recommendations on which 3D filament bonds best to Epoxy?

great video! What do you think about adding a carbon layer from both sides? so in this case also on the front. It would increase strength and improve the design even more in my opinion

Thanks! I am looking to print a part that keeps failing on my ikea furniture, literally the entire piece is a 2" piece of plastic that keeps breaking with the repeated force of pulling/pushing. Will print it and clash with carbon fiber

I am trying to make a kevlar reinforced mandalorian armour set with this method, but I don't know how to reinforce the helmet. If I do it in pieces there will be many seams, which will be weak points, but if I tried to laminate the whole helmet there will be folds and it won't laminate smoothly. Any ideas for this?
