A few suggestions: - Bentley Men EDT and/or Intense (winter) - F Black (winter/autumn) - Roberto Cavalli Uomo (spring) - Guerlain Vetiver (a bit old school but nice) or Encre Noire Sport (a bit more modern) summer/spring - CK Euphoria Gold...a CK scent that actually performs (anytime except summer) - Chrome Legend (all year) Maybe a good cheap signature. - Joop! Homme (all year, except summer again) - Silver Scent (entire line). Something there for everyone and every season. Typically 18-25 but older guys can definitely pull them off.

Great content as always. Gentlemen, if you're sick of all the typical department store fragrances that all smell the same and like most of us you don't have thousands to spend on niche fragrances most people have no idea about, your best bet is to go with tried and true old school classics. I started my fragrance journey with Cool Water and L'Eau D'Issey. I still have them in my collection and they still get me noticed. I'd tell you other things they still get me but I'd probably get flagged for it.

I bought a bunch of random fragrances from TJ Maxx on clearance one day about three months ago, and one of them was a 50ml of Guess Seductive Noir for 8 bucks. My fiance absolutely loved this fragrance, and two of her best friends gave it extremely positive reactions too. I decided to learn more about it as I had never heard of the house before, and in researching it on Fragrantica, I saw several people claim it was a 1 Million clone. One person said it was basically a bargain 1 Million with less longevity. I had always wanted to get into the 1 Million line anyways and had never gotten my nose on it before, so I finally got a bottle a month or so ago and I'll be damned if this isn't nearly identical to 1 Million! The biggest difference is it just doesn't last as long. The longevity isn't bad though. I honestly couldn't believe how close it is. I decided to compare them again today, having tested 1 Million out quite thoroughly since then, and it is STILL right on the money. If you can't afford some 1 Million, or just happen to stumble across Guess Seductive Noir at a steal, pick it up. It definitely doesn't have the same longevity but the scent is spot on. Seriously, this stuff is CRAZY close to it. I'm usually the guy who thinks clones are never as similar as people say, but this one smells totally indistinguishable to me on both tester strip and skin.

Guerlain L’Homme Ideal Cologne is my recent fav for the spring and summer. My dumb reach. It has some therapeutic vibe and effect on me, it’s just so calming and relaxing. Makes me feel good every time I catch a whiff of it on me. Very cheap for a high quality scent, 8 hours projection and I’m not even kidding, I can smell it on me for that whole time duration and then it becomes a skin scent after that. It’s quite amazing. It’s also very refreshing and unique with its powdery almond note. It’s a shame it’s being discontinued that’s why I got 8 back up bottles and grabbing some more xD

I literally roadtested fragrances on the job (as head of security of a exclusive club with a demographic of a affluent clientele comprised of wealthy ,tv/sports ppl , etc) ....a fragrance store would supply me weekly a steady stream of variety of all designer fragrances to wear nightly of testers & larger testers (with repayment of allowing them access into club😎 plus lil shop feedback too) ....90% of women would also peck me on cheek as welcoming them in via ropes & that encounter really got testing rolling of opinions....regulars would be anticipating immediately to encounter a new fragrance on greet with the usual bit of flirt & banter with fragrances the key conversation starter.....but 1 wild card dark horse fragrance that really puzzled me ....totally punched above its weight was "Nautica competition" (lil yellow scuba tank)... it wasnt super popular apparently cheap as chips but a real splash with the women😉

Hey Chaos you should make a vid discussing how fragrance discounters work .I know plenty of people who only buy fragrances from the brand websites or Macy’s because they think any where else is fake

Max C probaly due to reformulation if I were to compare a bottle of YSL la nuit de homme purchased from Macy’s in 2015 to a bottle purchased in 2019 there will obviously be a noticeable difference in performance as that 2015 was the last strong batch

Max C also safety and regulations make fragrance companies use less potent ingredients as some people are allergic to certain notes. This is why Aventus had very different batches as they have to tweak their fragrance to comply with the law

Actually GUERLAIN (as well as ESTEE LAUDER, LANCOME) is not designer brand. It's the House (Maison in french) which is producing fragrances, skincare and beauty products. And has nothing to do with design/ fashion industry at all.
