Put them in the bushes. If mid put on the opposite side of your jungler. Junglers can barely get close to you if you ward the bushes in advance.

One thing you didn't mention is that the Void Grubs give junglers specifically a MASSIVE amount of XP in the early game (half a level), provided you are a champ that has strong AOE to kill them quickly. This means that if you play a champ who needs to hit level 6 and powerfarms like a boss (Kayn, Graves and Eve for starters) these are a great objective to shoot for rather than doing a risky early drake.

I mean the overall buff they provide regardless, more so if you have both is worth more than both drakes imo; it gives immense pushing power. Which in turn can help your lanes keep prior. Making drakes 2 and beyond much easier to obtain. Also becuase of void grubs bel Beth is a perma ban in my games because once she’s 6 it gives her true form, which is much easier than a rift.

Rageblade doesn't give pen so you have to build an extra item, it also doesn't convert crit to on-hit anymore, so you lose on dmg even more. Botrk/wits end doesn't give movespeed anymore. Titanic doesn't feel like a buildable item anymore + has an active, but will have to test it out a little bit more. Yeah idk, atm on-hit feels weaker than crit sadly.

so after 1 day playing, i feel like the void grubs make the game even more fast paced. Teams start skirmishing on min5 already, then drake then grubs then drake then herald, almost every game i played was 20-22min 1st nashor into 25-30min game finishes. Out of 10 games i had 1 game to go to min40+

@@cangrexX The few adcs that build it was because the adc items weren't good with their kits, Jhin for example that loved building lethality (but also infinity tbh) ofc it's gonna get more value from that rather than guinsoo or kraken, no shit, and that wasn't because Lethality itself was good lol. Lots of assassins were pivoting to bruisers or other ad items rather than Lethality because lethality wasn't that great and I wonder why you think otherwise especially when Lethality wasn't even giving you full stats, so gold wise was also less worth until level 18 but lethality isn't famous for being a late game stat. I'd like to hear actual arguments if you have any

@@skiry_7207 lethality items were some of the most busted items in the game, the issue though was that riot kept adding more of the stats assassins wanted to bruiser items. even through the reduced lethality the damage you could deal with just an early dirk was absurd on most assassins, but when you could put the game on easy mode by leveraging level advantage, absurd amounts of hp, and the highest raw ability haste off of bruiser/fighter items, giving you an even greater safety net if you fumbled an ability, why would you bother with having to think about what youre doing. anyways tanks still arent gonna be great for longer than a month and even then, bruisers poaching tank items will be the actual winners and instead of nerfing base damage or trying to make tanks actually tanky rather than shitty damage dealers riot will, again, nerf tank items and tanks into being irrelevant outside of counterpick or being straight up and down numerically hyperinflated (or both, as is the case for malphite). just because irelia builds jak sho doesnt mean shes a tank btw

@@Junior305able yeah, but in exchange you lose a lot of defensive power from it and it's not a %increase to towers but a flat value. It also takes 5 autos. But the fact it works on jungle objectives and champs now makes your dueling potential pretty high. It also still gives HP and AD as base stat values. And idk how much Sion cares about auto resets but Titanic active can cause an auto reset. So if you want to split push as a primary focus I'd do that

As a Jhin main , dark harvest + lethality literally 1 shot everyone on late game . Crit its also not so bad u can't find that jhin has 1.1k crit on hit on late game . If u want to execute fast then dark harvest is working better then fleet footwork

Even though supports get more gold early on, their impact on a non-coordinated team (read soloq) was nerfed, due to mid/top getting safer and bot lane getting riskier, what makes it harder to roam, since ADC's are just a bag of gold early in the game.

Although you forgot to mention a few things on the support items: the stacks are obtained at a slower rate than before, so supports don't actually have that much more gold / you forgot Zaz'Zak's Realmspike as a 5th possible item transformation, which creates a delayed explosion scaling on enemies max health (but not on AP), on champion that get hit with AP damage.

Why would Riot buff support? It was already an extremely overpowered role, and had the highest skill floor. Yet Mid has been nerfed consistently and is now and irrelevant role, and will become even less relevant with tanks becoming OP and a TON more MR in the game and a nerfed Liandry's. AP champs are going to be virtually unplayable with all these tanks, and lethality has always been stronger than magic penetration, along with MR being stronger than armor. I don't understand why Riot hates AP champions and makes their items so incredibly weak, while making their counters extremely overtuned. The only AP champs that remain relevant are ones that are themselves overtuned. Now lethality is cheaper and better, so mid is going to pretty much exclusively be AD assassins and tanks. Mages and AP assassins are going to be unplayable.

New Hydra is bad in jungle. Junglers don't need that aoe damage and for sure don't need a 3400 gold item as first buy. They need something cheap but strong at same time, like youmuu and zoomies. Voltaic is super good for the stats, probably the first item to buy but... That 100 flat damage sounds very very weird. Whatever, its pathbuild with new brutalizer is very efficient

So as a vlad main, i gotta say the access to MR is ginna put his winrate in the dirt. The average player doesnt ubderstand that grievous isnt a big deal against vlad bc it doesnt stop him from one tapping you or your team, but building any shred of MR will absolutely make him cry and have to deviate his build path to void 2nd and that messes up his mid game power curve. L Tldr; if u think vlads broken and dont know how to lane or play vs him, just build a negatron

Riftmaker now gives the demonic embrace passive, the One that converts your bonus HP into AP and you can build After the Heart steel, basically granting you 148 AP and 1378 HP with two items also with hearthsteel you can stack indefitnely HP+AP and riftmaker gives you omnivamp, it's weaker early but you are tankier

Lethality is flat armor pen, if you have 20 lethality, you will deal dmg as the enemy had -20 armor, armor pen from serylda and black cleaver is percentage wise, for example old serylda and black cleaver gave you 30% armor pen, so if you attacked a 200 armor champ--> -60 for them. So percentage armor pen is better against tanks cause at a certain amount of armor, percentage will ignore more compared to lethality and flat armor pen (lethality) is better against champs with low armor. Example: 70 lethality vs 100 armor = 30 armor; 30% pen vs 100 armor = 70 armor (30% of 100 is 30 duh) 70 lethality vs 300 armor = 230 armor (still -70 cause its flat, and you get 70 lethality with like 4 items) 30% pen (serylda only) vs 300 armor = 210 armor (-90 armor from only one armor pen item) The thing about the items stated before (serylda and lethality), the reduction is not directly applied by lowering their armor, you make more dmg as if there armor was reduced (your team will deal no extra dmg) but for black cleaver it directly reduces the armor stat, so anyone hitting the tank that you stacked with BC will deal more dmg cause their armor stats will be lowered. I want to make a small adjustment to this video it is not all supports that are op this season only the mages, enchanters, and pyke/senna got way better but engage supports got put in the dirt so hard this season, they get their free item ok great but then what? You gotta pay for the expensive tank items and stay behind the enchanters in gold curve simply because they have no items anymore you have zeke's which no one uses, and knights vow which as an engage you also don't want that. I found every game nautilus, thresh, rakan, leona and alister have all been getting shit stomped every game because as the enemy mage or enchanters get their first quick item and their sup item the engage sups only have components to their first mediocre tank item simply because it is more gold to do so. You need to really dominate early and be lucky enough to start blue side if you have any hope staying on par with enemy enchanter and even then if the game is over 25 mins you fall behind them from just gold generation.

Honestly, the only time tanks are meta, the game is more balanced, but we vayne being s teir for about 2 seasons now and more true damage and hp champions like fiora, gwen and belveth being so good, even trundle. even if tanks are playable in solo laners again, I doubt they'll get far as champions kits still counter them so easily.

the problem is tanks have way too much burst and DPS. ornn can solokill in ONE rotation of his spells. that's not a tank that's an unkillable assassin

9:10 min.: I play with a premate Doulbe Support Botlane. Things like Brand Seraphine, Swain Seraphine and Taric Seraphine and hell is this stupid. We outfarm every once in the Game and deals stupid high dmg and carry games while both have a Support Item plus we both have wards in the hole mid Game. I highly recomand to play doulbe Support Item at Botlane. Its sooooo stupid! XD

Riot wanna fix snowball so they add this stupid grubs and now if you lose your base burn in a seconds, and tier 2-3 towers give you much more gold then couple of plates before from early herald, it seems people who balancing game have huge problem with logic.

I love how tank meta is. It requires squishy champs to actually learn macro and kite or lose. Too many adcs had too much DMG and didn't have to care about their placements. Adcs will feel this change the most and all the bad adcs at that. The ones who rely on broken supports or true DMG

You guys dont know what youre talking about with terminus...it wont replace wits end as it deals less magic damage and doesnt give move speed, which is key in pursuits. WE also gives more MR. Maybe used in conjunction with, but not replacing. In any case though, it does appear that they are setting up another tank meta for sure. I know ARAM is already ridiculous with some tanks that have innate defense boost skills already.

I feel like a lot of the changes are the complete opposite to what was Intention. My Games end mich faster than before, because the void grubs are THAT op. The while Team shreds Tower and just has an endless push on every lane. Oh and Toplane in low elo is easier gankable i feel like

Reverting lethality back to old flat armor pen seems odd. It became low value late game when the durability update gave every champ tons of armor late in the game. Making lethality not scale with level will make that drop off even sharper where assassins can dominate early but become useless late.

I don't think it will this time. They have enough items to have pure lethality builds, meaning all those squishy champions that don't buy armor items should stay squishy VS assassins for most of the game. Buying one defensive item VS assassins as a squishy got a lot better though.

Late game you get the same amount of lethality than before. Its just that now you also get more lethality in early/mid game

This change is a strict buff, but it preserves the weak state (when building lethality items) assassins were in in the late game. I think keeping the level scaling of lethality and just giving the items more lethality would have been a better solution. Still a strict buff, but doesnt force assassins to have to win super early.
