I remember when Doctors aired and SOME people were so put off by the age gap and I guess because he had been her teacher … but I (a now 50yr old) never thought it was a big deal! She was a very intelligent old sole. There was never anything inappropriate! It wasn’t like he was grooming her - they were very compatible. I don’t see anything wrong with any of these couples - they are in love. That is all that matters. In real life I know a couple with a much larger gap (like 30yrs) and they have been happily married for 20yrs already! If a couple isn’t bothered by it, then why should it be our business?

Facts👏🏼. Finally someone that understands what I’ve been saying and will keep saying it. Who cares about the age gap as long as everyone involved is an adult and not under age then it shouldn’t be a problem. You don’t like it then don’t watch it but don’t mess it up for everyone else that wants to see it the way it’s intended to be. I know for a fact that many directors and writers in Korea have said (press tours) that they had to changed their scripts and their way of direction in particular when it comes to their Korean tv shows due to the backlash from the general public/kdrama fan base because of big age differences between the lead characters most notably Mr. Sunshine and My Mister where Kim Tae Ri aka Go Ae Shin and Lee Byung Hun aka Eugene Choi were 28 and 48, and Lee Sun Kyun aka Park Dong Hoon was 44 and IU aka Lee Ji An was 25 at the time of the release of their respective shows. They were not under age girls, get over it and shut up.
