😂Hahaha as expected= using the example of past happened incidents. What is wrong with residency status = shouldn’t that be enough for stateless people, then thoroughly look in case by case on those who wanted to apply for citizenship status tier on a later date based on their capabilities as a good character before issuing. Time changed, system changed but this Thai government does seem to want to change or update to the more effective system at the cause of the problem. Children of foreign nationality or stateless parents born in Thailand don’t give an automatic right of citizenship status to their parents without the approval process. It is only orphans tier that are entitled to become a home citizens straight away in eligibility under the UN eyes. Worst of all the 5 days for each application per case target is ridiculous in passing over 400,000 + applications all in one go. This definitely shown that the immigration control system is incompetent and failing as well as any data recording and boarder control check points isn’t at all effective or has been breached for a long period of time. Biometric checks whether computerized or documented written is a yesterday thing so how come Thailand only implementing it now? Thailand should have stepped over this barrier of records tracking on personal identification since 15-20 years ago, otherwise = every other 10 years this occurrence of stateless people will take the advantage of the system. Sorting out the problem in the beginning of the causes at boarders & immigration control point then legal records data info on birth happening at the hospital as well as official site that provides the registration of birth certificates with proven records from the health sector, midwives, birth department in the country. = Had Thailand failed this process in linking the mentioning system up together in the first place - then the country will never be able to get rid of overload unrecorded citizenships problems. Plus more opportunities for criminals entering the country. So far= it seemed the Thai way is to cut out the problem at the end of tail after the problem already happened. Shouldn’t the first priority is to shut down all boarder access in entering for the next 3-5 years to clear the back log specifically targeting asylum settlement and refugees purposes. Unless residency status in Thailand given out said that paying tax from their earnings is exempt. - or that as a residency in Thailand you don’t get any help at all from the state in healthcare or pension or free under 18 education right. -or if you are a resident you won’t get charged for breaking the Thai laws. Well then in this case there is no point of having a residency right to remain status tier passing the bill or written up at all, is there😮 This just doesn’t make sense 😂😂😂😂 Remembered-there are many way to help stateless people and till date since the Second World War no country is doing what this set of the Thai government is doing, particularly in this overwhelmingly high population decade. It doesn’t no matter how long people ve been in the country = it doesn’t give the right to become a citizen of a nation without a proper legalizing process that is done so to benefit the country itself, particularly for economic development reasons. It is strange that Thailand wanted more unprofessional as new home comers rather than concentrating on human productivity and incentives them with a Thai citizenship later on after adequate investigation period. ie- children of stateless foreigners parents under residency settlement must complete to the a degree level before gaining the citizenship with 20% + paying back maintenance loans during the process. (depending on home financial stability) Is Thailand in a -minus birth rate or no low skilled labor worker at all. But when visited all those low skilled labor are mostly from Myanmar. Our house keepers are in fact from Cambodia. Load of western foreigners bakers in Phuket. Thailand is full and overloaded of low labor skill foreign workers already, so why giving out such easy citizenship status freely on the plate. By having good record tracking on people residing as residency should already help out on control of illegal immigration’s activities. Most countries only wanted high skilled new citizenships who are more likely to help country economic on a long term future development. Surely Thailand wanted this too?
@@rit2025 yeah strange way of doing things indeed. We are surprised that the boarders are still open to your next door neighbors to come in on all side for right to reside. Particularly = If it is over 400,000+ unrecorded illegal citizen, most countries would have shut down settlement rights for all foreigners in entering for at least two years to update and prevent anymore asylum seekers number adding to the list.
