It’s been said before, but the photo of Tyler Hadley with his friend is beyond haunting. One that comes to mind for me is the case of Daniel Petric. Tried to kill both of his parents because they took away his copy of halo three. His mom didn’t make it but his dad miraculously survived.

Here's one y'all probably haven't heard yet: On May 26th, 1994, seventeen-year-old Clay Shrout shot and killed his parents, Rebecca and Harvey, and his two younger sisters, Kristin and Lauren, after his parents confiscated his car and other personal belongings. He then drove to Ryle High - the school he was attending - and held his math class hostage with the same gun he used to murder his entire family. Thankfully, the vice principal courageously went in and convinced him to give up the gun. Clay Shrout is currently serving a life sentence in prison.

A lot of people are saying Gypsy-Rose should be on here, but I'm feeling a bit conflicted with if she really counted. Gypsy-Rose lived through daily abuse at the hands of her mom, but Nicholas Godejohn was the one who technically committed the murder - Gypsy aided in it by allegedly giving him some of the materials to help him with committing it. From what I've read and the stuff that Gypsy already described, he was already screwed up enough, and did stuff I'm not even gonna share in here. I guess it depends on everyone's stances, but personally, I'm not fully sure if Gypsy counts. If you think otherwise, I accept your opinion as long as you're aware of the situation and evidence that's happened.

The murder wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for Gypsy. She was also convicted and served time for it so no reason she can't be on the list. If the Menendez can't be absolved of their wrongdoings for the severe abuse they faced then no one can

You didn't mention the Gonzalez family. I think this case took place in Australia, if I'm not mistaken. He killed his parents and siblings. There was one survivor because she was out of the country. I believe she was at boarding school. I don't remember his motive.

I can't believe you guys didn't mention the Ninja/Yom Kippur murders as it is very similar to the Menendez Murders. On the night of September 25th, 1985 in West LA, an old Jewish couple named Gerald and Vera Woodman were shot to death by a gunman as they pulled into their garage, coming home after a night of celebrating Yom Kippur with family. One witness said they saw the gunman as he was fleeing the scene, dressed like a ninja (hence why its called the Ninja Murders). The police eventually found out that the Woodman couple were murdered by their own sons, Neil and Stewart Woodman, who put out a hit on them. Their motive appeared to be bad blood between father and sons, with a financial aspect to it. The boys had driven their dad out of their family's company, and wanted to collect on his life insurance policy of $500,000. In 1990, both of the brothers were sentenced to life imprisonment for the murders of their parents, while the gunman, Steven Homick was sentenced to death in 1995.
