Agree with the Chanel flap bag. I tried to convince myself to buy one for many years but it does not make me feel excited. The only reason why I will “probably” buy this bag is just to satisfy myself that I have one. But such a hefty price to spend for just that reason. I like to buy bags that excite me.

100% disagree with the hourglass being on this list. I have the bag and it is fantastic. The shape is so unique and cool and it is probably my most versatile bag when it comes from going to day to night and wearing it from anything from dresses to sweats. I don’t think you’d regret getting on imo

Hey there, Steph. I am glad that the Kelly bag didn’t make it onto the list for whatever reason. I love that bag. I agree with most of the items listed, but don’t agree with the Chanel Classic Flap (of course I’m 61, so) and I kind of like the Hourglass bag, too. Balenciaga should rethink several of their designs. However, if someone like unusual and edgy, it’s probably for them. Thanks so much for compiling and sharing this video. It was fun.

I would have added anything nylon. I lived through the 80’s. I loathe nylon and Fanny bags. I would not ever spend hundreds of dollars for nylon. Prada need better designs and no more nylon. Nylon to me is cheap and saffiano leather gives me chills in a bad way.

Interesting video! I love my LV PM, not many where I live but regardless it’s one of my first designer bags and I don’t think I’ll depart from it. I absolutely love Chanel classic flap. It is a timeless classic design. Maybe if I was in my 20s I’d see it as granny like…the Crazy price tag is probably the main reason is becoming more unpopular. I agree wit all the others bags.

Thankfully I keep myself away from the Pochette Métis. I wanted one so baddd but been holding it off because I hate the inside compartments. I bought coach Cassie instead and never regret since! Fully leather, better inside compartments, and bigger back pocket!! Pretty discreet too.

I hardly use my jumbo and my PM and I really don’t know why 😢 . On the Oder hand I love my speed to death , and it was a bag that before I had I use to hate 😅 and now I have 2 . I agree with most of these. Chanel classic flap and Hermes Burkin are truly are granny bags. LV multi pochette looks cheap while LV neverfull is literally everywhere. Balenciaga bags are either disturbing or just simply weird not to mention nobody wants to be caught dead with one of their bags due to the recent scandal.

I agree thar most bags from the list I do not like it too but I do love my LV Multi Pochette and it is for sure my most used bag BUT I do wear it separately. I mainly use bigger pochette with pink strap on a daily basis, smaller pochette on holidays to keep my hotel keys/card and phone in it and coin purse inside my other bags to keep a lipstick, airpods or coins in. I surprised Birkin is on the list but I am not a fan of the bag too

Balenciaga is probably the only luxury designer brand that produces bags that are not my cup of tea at all... except for the hourglass bag maybe. Overall it is a cute pretty classic tophandle bag with a unique twist, which obviously is the hourglass shape. So it is the only Balenciaga bag I do like somehow. I voted for the Cagole btw 😉😂... When it comes to the Hermes Birkin I think it is an overpriced and overrated workbag. It is way too big (even in the smaller sizes) to look cute which a bag you can only carry in your hand should do, in my personal opinion. Yes, it comes in nice colors, the leather and the craftsmanship are great, but it still looks like a workbag to me. Everytime I see someone carrying the Birkin I think "Is she going to work or coming back from work?" lol and honestly speaking a workbag usually gets pretty heavy, so without a shoulderstrap option it gets kind of useless, too. The Kelly on the other hand does look more dainty (especially in the smaller sizes), and somehow more feminine, so it does look cute as a tophandle bag (and this one does come with a shoulderstrap option as well).

It’s not just that the Birkin is “old fashioned” looking, it’s impractical … there’s a reason you never see a single celebrity carry it closed - I looked at them in Paris years ago, and realized why: the design is simply not functional - it’s a glorified tote bag that becomes unusable if you keep it closed. It’s like the Chloe Paraty - looks good zipped up, but not user friendly.

The hourglass is beautiful to look at but for the price it’s not worth it IMO. The shape means you lose a lot of space, and I don’t feel like the clasp magnet is strong enough for a structured bag.

Oh no! not the Neverfull understandable people see it on everyone, but I love my three lol. My 07’ MM in monogram I had refurbished in July. Replaced straps, pipping, inside pocket, and bottom. I purchased a PM in monogram for its size and I wanted a pouch. When the Neverfull was introduced in 07’ the pouch wasn’t included, so in Aug, in Japan, I purchased the Damier Ebene in the MM Sz. My Neverfull Damier MM handbag, I purchased in Japan was under 2,000, and The PM handbag I purchased in Ohio was higher than the one I purchased in Japan. I’m happy with the ones I have and will not be purchasing any more Neverfull handbags. I will be purchasing all items I want here in Japan, before returning to the states. US prices are ridiculously overwhelming and stressing me.

I generally find Bottega bags ugly......there are a few exceptions like a Camera bag, Trio Pouch and Cabat........the rest is disaster A lot of women wear a Pochette Metis, that's true but I still really like this bag. Chanel and a Hermes bag is also worn by many people and all other bags too......that's how it is
