Thank you for your observations on the positive aspects of Bhutan. I could understand your Tibetan language as it is so close to Dzongkha! Bhutan”s compassionate Monarchs and the stability of the Buddhist institutions, and tolerance of other religions contribute to peace, progress and stability despite diversity and a difficult geopolitical situation. Bhutanese traditions always adapt to the changing world environment and circumstances. Neighbors must respect Bhutan’s unique contribution to them and human society. Lyonpo Om Pradhan

U got all the 10 points right. But the best point that touched me most was abt the dead body of a bhutanese who left their soul in foreign land. Our king is so concerned that not even a dead bhutanese r left unattended. N thank u for peaking too positive abt bhutan tashi delek

We fully agree with your opinions of Bhutan except point No.5. Many people want to go to Bhutan for pilgrimage but the big amount that they charge from tourists makes it difficult for pilgrims to visit the holy places
@MetalGod.666Ай бұрын
Yeah but this is to limit over tourism...if too many foreigners visits then it will negatively impact the sacred site. But yeah it also makes it difficult for pilgrims that genuinely wants to vist and worship.

This is my wish that one day our country Tibet would become like Bhutan. Too much fast growing outer developments do not give inner peace which is happening in Tibet. Second wish is to visit Bhutan one day with my kids. Thank you Gen la for sharing your experiences.

The greatest things to learn from Bhutan is monks are not allowed to do politics
@Aniccä_impermanence2 ай бұрын
Let alone participating in election but they are not even allowed to vote...
Best learn in Bhutan . 🇧🇹 monk not allowed to politics. Tibetan parliament monk in politics. Tibetan should learn Bhutan system.
@SunRisen-sg3cw2 ай бұрын
that’s true , who did Zamdong Lama twice time bring PM exile tibetan. He is only PM of monk. even Samdin lama ex PM still he is a hidden poison political motivation
We can't do anything about these people they were born to spread hatred n negativity. Nothing can please them coz they were raised this way so ignore them n move on

Thank you Geskey la for your observation and 10 things to learn from Bhutan, wonderful but I think one more things to learn from Bhutan is: Bhutan separated church & state, I mean religion & politics (ཆོས་དང་སྲིད་) separated, what you think about this separation of Religion & Politics? So far in present Tibetan Democratic system in exile, it is not separated, what is your thought on this change in Bhutan?

Indeed there are lots of things to learn from bhutan... Just compare our tibetan settlement and Bhutanese town, we just build huge house in western style but just dont care about road and environment cleanliness.
