Hey! I'm self taught myself; been playing for just over a year. I was inspired by Ichika, and I'm still nowhere near his level. Guitar is a lifelong process, so just take your time with everything. For starting off, I recommend using KZbin, guitar tabs, and other things. Marty music is a great place to start. Good luck!

@@_rami_745 I wouldn't say "cleaner". Easier? Louder? Yes. Takes less force bc the compression will bring up the quiet noises. That being said, it brings up a lot of ambient noises i.e. fret buzz. Compressors are very useful for tapping. I got a compressor pedal bc of ichikas style inspiring me to, but mine still don't sound that great :( it's really >75% technique with ichikas tone imo
