Can you believe it, HR 2 is not Liszt‘s hardest piece. He has written music so crazy that no one knows if ANY pianist could ever play it, and therefore not many people know that those compositions exist. You can only find slower or digital versions. HR 2 is his most harfest superfamous piece.

However, having played the moonlight, and looking at Liszt, Rachmaninoff etc, they are further above. I would put moonlight 3rd movement at 8 or 9. Then maybe Rachmaninoff piano concerto 2 or 3 at 10.

I would like to listen list - la campanella from your hands ;)
@47Mortuus5 жыл бұрын
Way too difficult for him. He's a repertoire pianist, not a technical pianist (he plays very many songs very sloppily)
@zazaoyunda50225 жыл бұрын
Its difficult for yeah but still its not impossible.
@47Mortuus5 жыл бұрын
No it's not impossible. I was able to play it, too. But "from your hands" suggests that you'd like to listen to his way of playing it. It just won't be good, because he plays way too sloppily. He could play it with 100 mistakes or take 100 minutes playing it. I don't think that's what you're looking for.

@@47Mortuus He was able to play Hungarian Rhapsody No.2 but I don't really know. La Campanella still requires a different technical skill...

Moonlight final movement is a grade/level 8 piece. Below associate and full diploma level. You also had it in your 10 most difficult pieces, not sure why.
