We have a small error in the video. It says that Buddha was born in India. After going through the comments and then doing our own fact checking - Buddha was born in Nepal and not in India. We would like to apologies for it and hope this video would add value to your life. Thank you so much for watching.

Anyway Take a look at this too. Regarding the birth place of Lord Buddah. Please see the video link ENGLISH (18:20) onwards, It is suggested with evidence that the Buddah was Born and lived in SriLanka. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3mcop-biK-Cn9k There are many videos relating to the above suggestion but they are in Srilankan Language Sinhala. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnOsoolmotl0g6c kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJCyi6igrZZkgbs

Video also called him "a medIATOR" instead of a "mediTATOR." The screen has it spelled correctly, just the audio is wrong. I'd like to say it's not a big deal, but he is basically the icon of meditation (not mediation). Consider this constructive feedback, nothing personal, but I wanted to tell you because honestly my immediate reaction was to feel the entire video would be suspect after hearing the wrong word used.

The most scientific part of Buddhism☸️is, as the Buddha said, “Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”

I was raised in church and learned a lot,I'm 42 years old but the last few months God has been showing me things that no church has ever taught, there is so much more to everything, religion has never been what God wants,we need to be students of the Lord, when we categorize ourselves,we limit ourselves,I think all religions might have something right but none have the whole truth,I've learned things lately that has been hidden from the world, get off to yourself, put away all distractions,tv, movies, music, some people have been sent to cast spells over your life and distract you from learning who you are,ask God to show you the missing pieces,I've been amazed at what I've been learning

And what is that? Drop desires? Then one just exists - yes you will no longer suffer but what life is that? Goals, Aspirations are what makes life worthwhile - we know that attaining those goals is hard, to give up is easy but then we may end up with regrets, a life lost

@@ramaraksha01 i think it doesn't mean that you have to abandon your dreams and aspirations in life, but rather analise the way you aproach the idea of them. why do you have this dreams and aspirations? if the intention is good then it will do you good, but then, what will you do to achieve them? you can do it in an unhelathy way that will eventually hurt you and you won't enjoy, or you can do it consciously, about all of this things, and enjoy the path to achieve those goals in life. i may be wrong of course, but that's the answer i can give you now that makes the most sense to me

@@camiladuarte1515 "enjoy the path to achieve those goals in life" you see the goals are different - enjoy, be happy - this kind of talk comes from people who main aim is to be happy, who have no clue what desires and aspirations are all about. Desires, aspirations come with a lot of pain & suffering - the path is not easy nor is it enjoyable In the last Olympics this young lady, finally won a Gold medal in skating - it was her 5th Olympics! 5th! Do the math - that is 20 years of struggle at the highest level. Before that as a kid she was getting up at 4 am to go to practice, giving up so much, having fun, going on dates, and all the falling, hurting herself and getting up each time to practice some more! The kid who wants top marks or grades has to spend an enormous amount of time & effort, worry & sacrifice whereas the kid who doesn't care gets to sleep late, enjoy a ball game on TV, hang out etc The former is unhappy whereas the latter is happy! When i read that i can feel that some truths buddha said are reasonable thoughtful and it seem to indicate the source of suffering is all come from myself.

What makes you sad or happy may have been an OUTSIDE situation, but, your feelings are inside you. That doesn't mean someone should judge you on your own feelings. You'll eventually feel less miserable, EVENTUALLY. There are no guarantees in life. But, try to not lose faith in YOURSELF. Without faith we wouldn't have hope, without hope, we wouldn't have dreams, without dreams we wouldn't have goals.

in Buddhism, there is a well-defined chain of interrelated factors. It is called "paticca samupada". Its sequence is strictly defined: ignorance-karmic form-consciousness-mental and physical existence - sense organs and sensory sensations-desire-thirst - attachment - rebirth-death. And so on in a circle. This is the canon. And we can understand it and reflect about in our own way, but it works exactly in this sequence, one gives birth to another. If one wants to stop this cycle, he/she need to go backwards.

Jesus coming back very soon!!!please repent of your sins and accept Jesus into your heart. Salvation: The following prayer, “The Sinner’s Prayer” (also known as the Prayer of Salvation) is a simple prayer to follow when asking Lord Jesus Christ into your heart. You may certainly pray to God in your own words. The basis of the Sinner’s Prayer comes from Romans 10:9-10. “That if thou shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Sinner’s Prayer: Dear God in Heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that Lord Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead, we shall be saved. Right now I confess Jesus Christ as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Lord Jesus Christ from the dead. This very moment I accept Lord Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Lord Jesus Christ that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for dying for me and giving me eternal life. Amen.

"THEOSIS" A state of illumination in which we "see God " and we become united to Him. Its a state of ecstasy.

@Stephen Richardson In the beginning was the Word. The gospels were first written In Greek. Word in the original language is Logos. The divine reason implicit in the cosmos, ordering it and giving it form and meaning. Its a Devine title given to Christ alone, not to be mixed up with words spoken.

All my life lead me to the point to learn all these lessons myself. I never knew there was a philosophy/religion for it. I had to create my own philosophy the hard way, and it's beautiful to learn that all that I shared with other people is represented in this video. I learned that I am not alone, hello friends

I’ve recently decided to look into Buddhism and I definitely feel a connection with it. I’ve tried with Christianity many times but never felt like I fit in with it, but this feels good for me. I already started implementing some teachings discussed in this video in my life. Does anybody know what Buddhism book(s) I should read or the next step in delving in?

Christianity is just a Master/Slave religion - God made in the image of the King/Dictator of those days - think Putin, Saddam - "Support me & I will reward you with Heaven or else you will burn in hell for all eternity" If not for the injunction against Suicide, these would be seen as Death cults Sad to see that these are the top religions of the 21st century Buddhism is not like that but sadly, it also says give up on life, a lazy retirement Home exists in Heaven Only Hinduism asks us to come back to the REAL WORLD that God made for us, we can't run away & hide in fantasies, however tempting they may seem God is no Nanny Sugar Daddy ready to keep billions in cozy comfort for eternity Makes no sense THERE IS ONLY ONE WORLD! THIS ONE!

@@ramaraksha01 Buddhism isn’t exactly “giving up on life” its acknowleding that life sucks but we can make it better for ourselves. Whatever happens today, we can take in stride to make tomorrow better

@@notslimshady2943 Desires, Aspirations are what Life is all about - that is how we humans are where we are today, otherwise we would be like animals - what aspirations do animals have? Eat, sleep, some sex & safety - that's all animals care about And that is also Heaven - when I ask Christians or Muslims what they DO in Heaven, they draw a blank - billions just living the lazy life - Heaven a Retirement Home - sit around doing nothing, an idle, lazy, useless and pointless existence for eternity Makes no sense - shows Heaven is nothing but a lazy man's fantasy

@@ramaraksha01 And the more you crave, the more dissatisfied you'll become and the more you'll suffer. Desires are inevitable, it's how you intend to handle them. The attitude of "It's not enough, I want more!" There's enough proof in the world that the belief "desire can lead to suffering" is true.

Attachment, not desire, is the source of suffering according to Buddhism. The erroneous translation of Buddhist terms leads to misunderstanding and even the not understanding of Buddhism. Nevertheless, the video was very good to watch.

1. Practice the middle way, release ourselves from our desires. Embrace the pleasures of existence, instead of obtaining things. 2. Adopt the right view. Do not get upset with people or situations. Why do we think what we think? 90/10% rule, life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react. Use what we have around us to create good growth. 3. Develop good karma. Work on our actions and intentions. Work on ourselves in the present. Choose to give more effort today. Make a schedule, live more healthily. Our past does not define us. 4. Live every day like it’s your last. Do today what must be done. Liberate ourselves from the idea of birth and rebirth. Live ardently every day. Start the day right. Breath in and breath out. Focus on each task, live in the present moment. 5. Great things are the result of little things done with great purpose. The pot gathers the rain 🌧 drop by drop. It takes 18 days to 222 days to develop a new habit. Start small in breaking bad habits. Avoid triggers. Failing is part of learning. 6. Show your wisdom in silence. Talk only when you have something good to say. The more you learn the more you’re exposed to what you don’t know. Listen and engage in healthy dialogue. 7. Hatred is never appeased by hatred. Look at them with compassion. 8. Choose friends for quality over quantity. Seek fellowship with Nobel men. 9. Be generous and help each other. Ask for support. Care for yourself. 10. You can be a Buddha too. We must strive every day. Change starts with us. Struggle well and do not give up.
