Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train and Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror are the only rides I really miss. I also miss Soarin Over California, but it’s not permanently gone because they bring Soarin Over California back every March and April for the California Food and Wine Festival.

Okay a few corrections here: The Tower of Terror at DCA never had randomized drop sequences every single ride was the same. That was the version at Walt Disney World. The new version, Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout has randomized drop sequences with different show scenes and songs.

Thanks for the info, it's much appreciated. I guess my memory isn't as good as I thought! Ive been lucky enough to ride every version around the world so I guess I can blame the confusion on that.

I miss a bug’s land, it was fun, ever since they closed it to make way for avengers crappus i’ve despied marvel and the avengers

I loved A Bug’s Land too, especially the cute and quirky theming. I didn’t like how you could see the Tower of Terror, until a tour guide said to me that it was as if A Bug’s Land was in the hotel’s front lawn. Suddenly gazing up at the tower the perspective made total sense!

That certainly was a fun little ride, it was one that got better with time as the landscaping matured. I loved the park when it first opened, but looking back and visiting at all points of its evolution I can see its flaws.

What happened to the S&S towers? did it get relocated to another park?

I couldn’t find any definitive answer, but I suspect they were scrapped.

I feel like they went TOO far with the California theme. I think it’s perfect now. Everything is close enough to California theme but with Disney characters.

I agree so much. Looking back it was all the pun filled names that were part of that for me, just way too far. But it was designed in the ‘90s! That said, because I am not from California I found the theme interesting and exotic at the time!
