Someone actually found out what mommy said: “Huggy Wuggy always tells mommy when guest’s are on their way down.” “Huggy Wuggy didn’t this time” I honestly think mommy was concered about huggy because he tells her. Although in the real game, she couldn’t control her anger (i have a theory because she loved the kids, and she was alone when they were turned into toys). I think that’s why she killed bunzo and the mini huggies.

It's funny how the fans figure out that the "censored name" during MLL's Alternate Intros was "Huggy Wuggy", and it makes sense because Huggy is theorize as the "Head of Security" of the BBI.

Even though this was nine months ago, I keep coming back to look at all the scrapped designs for characters and previous designs. A few of them actually helped a little in giving me inspiration for a short story contest, so I just thought to let my thanks be known for that. If there's one thing I'm most impressed with in this game is the careful designs and subtle hints of ingenuity behind them. This is definite proof that they truly love their game instead of treating it as simply a polished product to be discarded.

It’s pretty insane to see how much had changed in chapter 2. From the designs of the locations, to deleted scenes, and most importantly scrapped characters and explaining what they could have been in the chapter. This was a truly interesting video to show us how much history that Poppy chapter 2 has brought around the table and I hope when chapter 3 finally releases we will also get a behind the scenes video of that chapter as well.

The design process for Mommy Long Legs is fascinating. As someone that loves creature design I love the trial and error process of needing to balance the realism of being a toy and also becoming creepy and threatening. The simplicity of the round abdomen was PERFECT.

Their creature designs are so intricately balanced between nostalgic toys and plastic monster. Huggy Wuggy is a teddy bear plush that is just a furry yeti with a glasglow smile from a nightmare. Mommy Long Legs and Miss Delight are barbie toys with MLL's pupils dilating up like a psychedelic trip and Miss Delight as weathered doll armed with brutality. Catnap looks like a sports mascot that can turn into a twisted reptile beast. It's like they have made the perfect balance between cute and creepy that each monster has two interchangeable faces. The toys look like they could exist in our world because they look like toys we grew up with but to be able to change how we perceive them as monsters so fluidly is ingenious design.

This is by far one of the coolest things I've seen to come out from an indie studio. I absolutely adore chapter 2 and typically you don't get a lot of transparency with indie horror studios so this was a very nice surprise (that could just be my experience with fnaf though lmao). Not only does this confirm so many small little theories about changed and scrapped material but it's straight up shown and explained and I love that, like the flower character and the original character of PJ. You guys are proving yourselves to be such a passionate studio and this is evident of that. Well done guys, looking forward to chapter 3!

MOB has already reeled in their fans and they aren't going anywhere, but they don't want them complaining about the game's quantity over quality like Security Breach or Hello Neighbor 2. You can't make a chapter-by-chapter game without stealing other people's ideas in between (BatIM is proof of that).

@@nightrunner823mcpro2 MOB can't afford to lose their fanbase to boredom by doing what Bendy, Hello Neighbor, FNaF, Dark Deception, and other games do by going months without updates on the thing they're making. Why do these companies go months without updates? Because they know that their fanbase is still gonna stay and wait for whenever that announcement ends up coming, why? Because these are Bigger well-known games (Indie Games) that have been going at making games for many years, they've already built up their communities and fanbase and most of them are still here lingering for the next game or next announcement that the companies make. Poppy Playtime on the other hand is fairly new (compared to FNaF, Bendy, Hello Neighbor, etc.) and they don't have a fanbase or community as big or as strong as FNaF, Bendy, and all those other big games have had so right now they are tending to that small (compared to the others) amount of people they have. And it doesn't help them that they have a lot of controversy surrounding them (CEOs) and their channel like allegations of harassing (at the time) a 15 yr old and stealing their game, sexualizing characters in their videos and thumbnails, and stealing money from KZbin by violating multiple of their ToS). That isn't a good way to welcome people to your fanbase (not saying that FNaF, Bendy and Hello Neighbor haven't had their fair share of controversy). And with problems like that, I'm pretty sure they're gonna try everything to keep their fanbase happy. A great example of this is big AAA game companies, at the start (before they became as big as they did) they put their heart and soul into making a game for people to like because they don't know if people will play it or not, but then as they build a fanbase and community they become confident in their game (maybe too confident) and start to just assume that their fans will just buy anything they make and get lazier just because they already have a strong fanbase. Watch, in a couple of years (if Poppy Playtime is still a thing and they don't go bankrupt by getting sued) they'll probably be as radio-silent as FNaF, Bendy, and all the other big and popular Indie Horror Games. *sorry for writing a book XD*

It's so nice to have such transparency and knowledge on the artistc vision/process to create the game. Normaly as players, we never know what goes behind the scenes and this kinda leave us to wonder what may or not happened until the final stage point. idk if its mentioned much or at all but something i really have to commend is how much commitement is in this game like there is serious care taken into every action thats done with character designs, cutscenes, realism for the ingame lore and characters (not realistic for us but for the world of the game) just everything i couldnt stop thinking about how amazing it is that there is actually a company that is this serious about the care of the product and it really shows because everything thats been in the game has been perfect. Like yous tried all those other ideas and came out with better ideas. It's actually amazing how this is all done. Though, all the beta designs like for the different musical memory foes are cool! Maybe, they could be hidden easter eggs in the future? (Like one of them broken up behind a hidden wall as an achievement or something?) Or possibly side foes like Bunzo was for Mommy (Basically a mini boss before the big bad of future chapters). I love these developers don’t really care if people know/show glitches, bugs, unused content, and scrapped ideas. And while I get the beta version of chapter 2 that was originally in the files being removed, I think it is kinda sad, as it had things that were either really cool, or really funny. But this shows that scrapped ideas being shown to the public isn’t the worst thing in the world. I hope that other development studios such as steel wool would also show this stuff. Overall really cool video that also give us a bit of insight into the development of this chapter!

I personally think that Cassie cutie-pillar would've been much more of a creepy enemy. In the chapter 2 trailer, Cassie moved in much more of a creepy way than Pj pug a pillar. The other creepy thing is that you couldn't tell the expression of Cassie with her dark, soulless eyes and her big red fluffy nose. All you knew was that she was a huge fluffy caterpillar creature that was coming towards you. Pj pug a pillar gave out more expression, which made him less creepy.

Cuter is definitely not the word I would use to describe him. I personally think it was a great choice to keep PJ bc if we keep placing ourselves in this “whats more marketable for children” and “what looks cuter” box then we can never truly push the envelope on what’s nightmare fuel which is exactly what PJ is. He can be seen as both “cute” to some and “horrifying” to others (me). I don’t think most toys need to look adorable to sell bc sometimes it’s just the wackiness of their existence that catches the eyes. Look at furby’s man..I as a kid use to love them until I realized just how creepy they were…PJ totally gives off that vibe.

i do think the first version of Mommy Long Legs' introduction is really good, because her just dangling from the ceiling is scary, just add some lighting to cover most of her in shadows and have her move around upside down and are you're golden

I love the scrapped concepts and the reasons they didn’t make the cut. I also super respect the feeling that the other factory sections just felt like filler so you scrapped them. Too many devs don’t. As a frog owner, there’s a lot of horror that could be done with a cute roller skating frog. Frogs are a very good example of an animal that’s only cute because it’s small. Swallowing prey whole, and being super optimistic about what they can stuff in their faces, are defining frog characteristics. Frogs will absolutely eat until their stomachs literally explode, and will absolutely choke to death on food that’s too big for them. They’re also so happy to resort to cannibalism that they often prefer their own kind over novel prey. You’re right and she probably wouldn’t have fit in at PlaytimeCo, but the second I saw Lily in the context of a horror game, the first thing I thought was one giant Lily on what was clearly a production line of them, having grown fat and distended from eating all the others. The second thing I thought was as a gory set piece: a long-dead Lily lying in a crane operator’s booth, the decaying back end of a person (or another toy) hanging out of her mouth where she’d choked on it. Or a burst-open one lying on her side with a giant pile of half-digested toys (and parts of a child skeleton) spilling out.

Personally I always wondered why mommy wasn't more spider like and creepier. And all of that issue banban comes across visually is because its made from 2 brothers. Mob entertainment has 110+ employess. I expect ploppy playtime to be visually better but visuals dont make a game good. Thats why i think its just as bad I would like horror games to not be the same as everyone other horror game. I would like more to do than actual kid puzzles

It really interested me that Mommy's dialogue was censored. I honestly think she was referring to Huggy as the amount of characters censored was enough to fit huggy wuggy. When Playtime Co started factory tours, they would start up at huggy and send kids down to mommy. Meaning because we killed huggy in chapter 1, huggy obviously wasn't able to tell mommy.

@@crimsoncasters2110 A theory by Sheeprampage actually proved this. He found the font they used and the spacing between the letters and it was perfect for "Huggy" and "Huggy Wuggy" A lot of people have also theorised that Huggy was a security guard which is also very possible.
