For the Invisible Deck trick, many magicians use the suit pairing memory mnemonic C.H.a.S.D.ed (chased) which pairs Clubs/Hearts and Spades/Diamonds. This trick is absolutely JAW DROPPING if you play it up with a bit by going through the actual action of fanning an "Invisible Deck" and asking the mark to pick a card from the cards they can see, if they play along, and say they have picked a card, tell them to memorize the card and then put it back in the deck. Then you tell them you cheated because you previously memorized all the cards, and while they were putting their [invisible] card selection back into the fanned deck, you secretly flipped the cards so all the other cards were face up, so you could see them and figure out what their card was by the process of elimination (they know this is impossible, and that you are screwing with them because THERE WERE NO CARDS) - you say you will "prove it" and ask them what their card was, and when they tell you, you say "CORRECT!!!" as if this proves you previously knew their card - Then, just when everyone is starting to groan, and writing the whole trick off as a total JOKE, you pull a very REAL deck from your pocket, fan the cards, and let the mark remove the REAL card that was previously chosen.
