If anyone is looking for an eyeliner that’s like the urban decay bud actually stays on longer - the new Huda Beauty liner and the Kulfi liner don’t budge at all! I have eyes were my eyelid hits my brow bone when my eyes are open, so I always have eyeliner on my brow bone. I used to use the UD liners because they are really creamy for mature eyes, but they do smudge. I’ll never stop using the Huda Beauty and Kulfi. They are truly stay put liners!

Milani eyeshadow primer is the bomb. I’m 65 and I use it every morning. I was buying Narrs pro prime for a couple of years and was having trouble finding it in the tinted version that I like, so I went back to Milani. there’s absolutely no difference in how they perform and Milani is a lighter formula so it doesn’t add a visible layer of product to the eyelids. I don’t know if I would work for people with oily eyelids, but mine are normal and it works great for me.

I have both the Mac Studio fix and the essence powder foundations. You are absolutely right in your description- Max is creamier and essence is more dry. But I find the creaminess makes the Mac go on heavier whereas the essence starts off more sheer. I will likely not purchase the Mac again.

$25? I remember waiting for Ulta 21 days to get Urban Decay eyeliner for $11, and they were always in the sale. Not anymore. Neither were the sparkly shadows. Funny how $15 for drugstore sounds expensive now. If you really want to see the increases look at your purchase history. I never thought Hourglass blush would be over $40. I think the demand for dupes is higher because of the increased costs. I still wait for coupons or sales even for drugstore

The Colourpop gel liners are incredible. I had mine (I bought a set) for quire a few months, I wrongly assumed they would be decent but average - they're not, they really are incredible!! I was kicking myself as a few had dried up before I realised how great they were. The next time I need a new cream bronzer, I'm getting Sol one. I have backups of that essence powder! I LOOOOOVE that powder foundation. I use Paula’s Choice super light daily defense spf, let that set down for 10-15 min, the I go in stippling that essence powder all over where I need coverage and it NEVER looks cakey or funky and I rarely blot during the day. I love that combo. Love love loooove!!!

I prefer the Milani dispensing method, just seems more hygienic. Many years ago, UD had the same design (no wand) and they changed it. I hated it and still do, plus because you take the wand in and out, it can dry up. You never get all of the product out of the Urban Decay eye primer.

I don't own the Hourglass lipsticks, but based on your commentary, I think a dupe might be the Elf O Face Satin lipstick --specifically the shade Standing Ovation. Those are much creamier than the Milani.

I watched Caroline Barnes (Speed Beauty) doing a demo with the new Beauty Pie creme bronzer. She spoke really highly about them and they do look very similar to the Chanel/CT cream bronzers but obviously if you're a member, a lot cheaper.

I found the Milani eye primer hard to get my eye shadow to blend. I don’t know if I didn’t let it dry long enough or if I put too much on my eye lids?

Most can be that way because they remain grippy for the eyeshadow :) Dust your eyeshadow primer with a bit of setting powder to give your lids a super smooth canvas for your shadow and you're all good.

I must’ve got a bad tube of the Milani eye primer. When I tried it, it didn’t spread evenly and didn’t cover my veins or discoloration at all! I tossed it as it was so bad 🤷🏼‍♀️

It has no coverage, made to be sheer. Main reason I reach for others!

If it doesn't spread evenly, try shaking it or rolling it between your hands a bit before you use it. But it's not meant to give coverage for discoloration - you need a pigmented primer. Try Jason Wu (Target) or Profusion (WalMart).

It’s made to be sheer like the original UDPP (not the tinted versions like Eden, etc) and to hold shadow on all day and keep it from creasing. It does a great job of that. It should be nice and creamy though!

On one hand, I get wanting to move product vs just wasting it. And some consumers don’t care and will use makeup (esp makeup that’s been sealed) past the date. But it should be marked as such so that everyone is aware of it, even those without the app. This way they can decide if it’s worth it to them to purchase it or go with the newer one at full price.

So a legitimate question, you’re not supposed to blend out your concealer as much as your foundation, right I think that might be what I’m always doing wrong. I never get any coverage and always just looks really wrinkly under my eyes when they don’t without concealer maybe I’m blending away too much?

Right. You tap it in to the desired coverage level and just blend out the edges. You don’t want it to be cakey and to thick, so use a small amount and tap it out/blend it into your foundation at the edges and then see if you need to tap a bit more over it for more coverage

Thank you for this! I’ve yet to try the PF concealer but eager to. When I first tried the Milani eye primer years ago I loved it, I just didn’t have the money to get the urban decay. Add timer, so I picked up Milani- before long it was my holy grail. The last few times I bought it - more recently it’s different. OR my eye skin has changed or the product has. I never had a problem with the crease and now I do. I had tried the hourglass & stopped using it for the same reason- but out the gate it was creasing on me. I use the elf primer, and never have a problem with creasing!✊🏼🪵
